Lindsay Could Go to Jail, for The Gazillionth Time

A photo of Lindsay Lohan

No, this wouldn’t be the gazillionth time she’s been to jail. She’s only been to jail a small handful of times, remember? What I’m saying is that this is the gazillionth time that we’ve heard that she could go to jail. Like, this is the gazillionth time that Lindsay Lohan has done something illegal enough that it could possibly put her behind bars. Gazillionth. Probably literally.

This is about that time that she wrecked her car back in June, remember? And she told police that she wasn’t even driving, even though everyone saw her driving. You remember.

From TMZ:

Lindsay Lohan will be charged with the crime of lying to police after her car accident in June on Pacific Coast Highway … TMZ has learned.

We broke the story … Lohan told cops she was NOT behind the wheel of her Porsche when it slammed into the back of an 18-wheeler.  Fact is she was — according to multiple witnesses.

Law enforcement sources tell us … the case will be filed as a misdemeanor by the Santa Monica City Attorney … possibly this week.

The charge could spell huge trouble for Lindsay, because she’s currently on probation for the jewelry heist.  The criminal filing could trigger a probation violation, and Judge Stephanie Sautner — the jewelry judge — could send her to the slammer for a long, long time.

And law enforcement sources tell us … cops found prescription pills in her purse after the crash.  Witnesses tell us pills were also scattered in her trunk.  Our sources say authorities were prepared to charge LiLo with drug crimes, but Lindsay’s lawyer, Shawn Holley, gave cops documentations from Lindsay’s doctor, saying the pills were properly prescribed.  Authorities then backed off that charge.

Guys. I think this could be it. I know, I know, I say that every time, but I think this one could really turn out to be something. She lied to cops, and everyone knows it, and she’s on probation. Something could really come from this. Let’s have some hope here, all right?

  • I want to hope. If this bitch gets put in jail it would help restore my faith in justice. Slightly.

  • The optimist in me always hopes she’ll have to pay the piper.
The pragmatist in me says, “you know nothing’s gonna happen, right?”

  • I feel bad for her situation – with both parents being such train-wrecks. She pays all of the bills for several people and has to put up with their dramatic B.S. Lindsay isn’t perfect but she’s had a lot of stuff to deal with in her life. :(

  • How old is she that she just can’t say no to her train-wreck parents? That excuse is getting lame, she needs to pay her own bills and let Moms and Pops fend for themselves. Nothing will happen to Lindsay, just a lot of pictures on the net and people talking about her for a couple of days(hours) about this, just what she loves. Oh yah, California taxes will have to pay for the poor smucks doing the legwork and paperwork on this lost cause.

  • Blah, blah, blah. She has a printing press in her bathroom and it prints her as many “Get Out Of Jail Free” cards as she wants. If she ever gets any significant time, look at the news, because Hell will have frozen over.
