I totally agree. Its like they’re trying to put “feeling” into a song that already has it and it just ends up sounding bad. I personally find it disrespectful as well.

She did ok. Maybe a little screechy because she started in a little higher key. Definitely not a ‘bomb’ like Xtina or other turds who flubbed the words.

What’s the deal with people always doing the annoying “taking a shit” singing with the American anthem? Here in Canada, it’s sung regular and every sings along and no one gives a fuck about how fancy ass the singing is because that’s not the point of singing the national anthem. Plus all the vocal acrobatics makes it last for.ever.

… I just don’t understand the desire to change the tune by adding all the vocal gymnastics. It makes it less about the song and more about them, and that isn’t the point.
