Why wouldn’t a 12 year old have wrote it?
I became active in politics when I was 10/11 years old (as in engaging in political debates and events in my community).
Sure, I wasn’t your typical 12 year old and my vocabulary was influenced by the fact that I read about 200 books a year, but I can’t imagine why anyone would think a 12 year old incapable of being relatively litterate…
Of course it’s also possible some parents would use their kids as an instrument to get their own message across, but seeing as kids at that age usually have the ability to think for themselves, lets for the time being give credit to the young boy for speaking up against injustice and fighting for his family.
Yay for him!

… And once again, boy am I grateful for my free healthcare, free education and generally living in a country where “socialism” is not considered a bad word.

It’s amazing how the far right nutfucks have made the position of POTUS out to be the equivalent of that blue guy in Watchmen when in reality he’s more like your Dad and Congress is your Mom. Your Dad is for the most part a symbolic head of the household while your mom’s the one who gets stuff done and controls the purse strings.

Hey guess what? Some children are capable of writing their own letters. China, Russia, India, and Asia have a great number of 12-year-old geniuses so is it that hard to believe that an American child could use a “big” word like “backpedaled”? Dear God I fear for American kids today because the majority of these new parents are truly morons.
