Poor, poor Amanda Bynes. Girl’s only had, what, three or four run-ins with police in the past few months and they’re already considering throwing the book at her and putting her behind bars for almost a whole year? That’s absurd. Lindsay Lohan gets away with more than that on a daily basis, and *we all know how those jail sentences work out.

Amanda Bynes has been charged with TWO counts of hit-and-run — after allegedly smashing into some car and fleeing the scene … twice.
If convicted on both counts, she faces up to a year in jail.
We broke the story … prosecutors recently reopened Bynes’ hit-and-run case from back in April because the actress was accused of yet another hit-and-run last month.
Now, the L.A. City Attorney has taken the next step — charging Bynes with two counts of misdemeanor hit-and-run, stemming from the two incidents.
As for the second alleged incident, we’re told the “smoking gun” for detectives was that the damage to the victim’s car matched the damage to Amanda’s.
She’s due in court September 27th.
So it looks like Emily’s prediction last week is about spot-on—things aren’t looking good for Amanda Bynes, huh?

This is Los Angeles, even if she’s convicted and gets a year in jail, she will be out in a couple of hours. Celebrity justice.
my friend went to a CA jail for a few weeks and he was released. anyone with a year or less is released pretty much immediately. i mean, not a few hours like celebrity, but within a week or 2.
