Kristen Stewart Will Make An Appearance Tomorrow, Isn’t Excited About It

A photo of Kristen Stewart

It’s been, what, about a month and a half since Kristen Stewart earned her scarlet letter? And we’ve only seen her twice since then, once immediately after the news broke and then once a few weeks later. But these were just candid photos, surely not anything set up by her publicity team to gain some sympathy or anything like that. So what will she look like during an official appearance?

I’m not really sure, but I guess we’ll find out tomorrow.

From Radar:

Kristen Stewart is having “sleepless nights” as she prepares to promote her new movie at the Toronto Film Festival, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

The Twilight star’s latest flick, On the Road is the first film to screen at the annual event where it premieres on Thursday night, and it comes with a great buzz. However, K-Stew, 22, is overcome with nerves about her first red carpet appearance since her now infamous cheating scandal and hopes her personal life doesn’t overshadow how the motion picture is received by the critics.

“Kristen Stewart hasn’t been able to get a wink of sleep in the run-up to the film festival,” a source revealed. “Even though members of the media have been strictly told that questions about her cheating scandal are off-limits, she’s been fretting over the film’s premiere. She really hopes that the critics are kind to her when it comes to the reviews and they don’t judge her on her personal life. On the Road is a project that’s very close to Kristen’s heart. She is a big fan of the original novel by Jack Kerouac and wants the movie to get the praise she thinks it deserves. Kristen’s worried that because it opens the festival, a lot is expected of it and just prays that it’s well received,” the source concluded.

If Kristen is nervous because everyone hates her now, then that’s totally fair, but it sounds like she’s nervous because she thinks people won’t like the movie because everyone hates her now, which is significantly more ridiculous. If people don’t like the movie, it could very well be because of her. Not because she broke Robert Pattinson‘s heart, but because she’s not a good actor.

Oh god, I just got this vision of Kristen Stewart spending the rest of her whole career dropping passive aggressive quotes like “some people can’t see the Incredible Art because they can’t look past an actor’s personal life, blah blah, big word that sounds kind of intellectual but doesn’t really fit into what I’m saying, Unique Art, blah.” How annoying would that be?

  • I think she’s lovely and talented and hopefully settled as wiser on work ethics and moral responsibilities to herself and her loved ones now.. You can’t act like a slut and rebel and bravely play immoral, cruel characters doing whatever they want.. and not have some of that risque trash and backlash of guilt.. of what you do rub off as common place in your daily life.. I’m not judging at all but I feel it is a contradiction for those who play dirty roles to say it’s just acting.. you let your guard down and lose your normal inhabitions.. and the people you are around while working also begin to treat you in that manner.. In the case of a director much older than her.. who allowed her some authority to make changes and do things she wanted in the Snow White story.. in a sneaky way he compels attention for her to love him.. by force, intimidation, or authority, especially without regard for individual desire or volition of her boyfriend, steady loving relationship.., oh come on it’s just a kiss, show me your more seductive torrent side.. teasing.. contradicting your modest beliefs and trust he’s just a director and not taking this role playing serious.. to catch you and have it filmed, then gossiped about ruining your life…
