I can’t help but believe that Katie has been cheating on Tom. The secret divorce, all the lingerie. Going out of her way to seem like she is a nice person when her daughter looks miserable when she is with her mom. Also, I looked at the reviews on all the movies she made and the critics all agree she can’t act. I happen to agree with the critics. Here’s hoping she doesn’t have anymore roles.

The only person worth watching was Joshua Jackson. Let’s see how fast Katie is forgotten now. Of course she’s living off her daughter and how that makes her anybodies sweatheart is beyond me. Katie uss her daughter for money and publicity. All these outings recently were for self promotion! Atleast Tom would never use his daughter that way. Also, these lies that Katie talked Tom into a Trust fund is BS. Tom set up a trust fund for all three kids long ago. suri’s was set up when she was born. Katie was hoping Suri would get it at 18 so she could use it.

I’m getting to the end of season 4, first time watching it too. And yes, Pacey is the absolute BEST. I never really ‘got’ Joshua Jackson until I started watching and now I’ve become insanely jealous of Diane Kruger.

I just finished the series last week. The final two seasons are pretty ridiculous (the character assassinations of Jen and Jack were particularly rage-inducing, so get ready for that), but they actually wrap things up pretty nicely at the end. And although I was surprised to find that my 12-year-old feminist heroine, Joey Potter, was actually kind of a self-centered bitch, I was pleased to discover that Pacey J. Witter is still the best. Sigh.

Stick with it – the third and fourth season were my favorite! Because you know what the best part of the show was? Pacey. And the third and fourth season see some excellent Pacey story lines . . .

Yeah, I think it would have been better for me personally if I had had to wait in between episodes, because I just got sick of them after the first season. After taking a break, though, I went back and watched some of season 2, and it wasn’t too bad. Gonna take another break before finishing the second half of the season, though…

Dawson’s creek is one of those shows that existed before DVDs of tv shows was an option. That said, it’s platform really benefitted from commercial breaks and once-a-week deployment. (something you forgo in watching the DVDs…episodes back-to-back). It can become a little redundant at thatsaturation level. And Dawson’s externalized inner monologue can make you want to punch him at times. But I can see what they were trying to do, given the platform that existed at the time. I can’t say that I hate it.
