Kristen Stewart has publicly shown remorse over her affair with her “Snow White and the Huntsman” director, but privately she is FURIOUS she’s taking all the heat … sources directly connected with Kristen tell TMZ.
Our sources tell us … Kristen can’t believe the public isn’t painting Rupert Sanders as the bad guy. She’s grousing that he’s 19 years her senior and was “in a position of power over her” … being a director of a movie she had just shot and presumably someone she was going to work with again.
Kristen is also incensed that she’s being called the big cheater. Although she knows she shouldn’t have done it because she was in a committed relationship with Robert Pattinson, she feels Rupert is in a totally different and far more culpable situation, being married with 2 kids.
We’re told Kristen fears her career may be irreparably damaged — something she believes she doesn’t deserve as a 22-year-old single woman who made a stupid mistake.
Look, I’ve said this a million times: Kristen Stewart is taking all the heat for this because she’s Kristen Stewart. Rupert Sanders isn’t getting as much public hate for this because he’s Rupert Sanders. As far as I know, no one besides the Twihards believe or even claim that Kristen is more guilty than Rupert. There are just so many more reports about what she’s doing and how she’s feeling because she’s Kristen Stewart. And she gets a pass for being furious over this, because it is her name being dragged through the mud and it is her career on the line, but listen. Nobody thinks that Kristen Stewart is the worst person here. Nobody.
It’s not sexism, it’s just fame. Because Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson were an unbelievably famous couple, while the majority of us had never even heard of Rupert Sanders and Liberty Ross before this. And Kristen doesn’t deserve to be hated or shunned or fired from jobs or whatever else is happening – I think that part is sexism, and also a byproduct of the crazy Twihards – but the reporting? That’s just the fame, you guys.
Again a mistake is when you don’t know what your doing! They both knew what they were doing and they kept going back for more so I don’t buy the “I made a mistake” crap! He’s just as much to blame as she is! He shouldn’t have because he’s was married and she shouldn’t have because she knew he was married and she was in a committed relationship! The whole point of your story is kind of contradictory to the fact that you use the worst photos possible when publishing. She really is a beautiful woman.. give her a break.

This saying isn’t true. When I was younger, I cheated on my boyfriend. I am now married to the love of my life and would NEVER EVER cheat on him. When I was with the boyfriend I cheated on, he made me feel like I was the ugliest, most worthless person in the world. I had no confidence and thought I could never get any better. I ended up meeting a guy that changed my mind and I got together with him before breaking it off with the other guy. Not that this has anything to do with Kristen Stewart but cheating once doesn’t make you a cheater for life.
Emily, come on. Of course it’s sexism. What happened when Charlie Sheen literally shot his ex wife? When Sean Penn put Madonna’s head inside the oven? When Michael Fassbender assault his girlfriend? When Polanski raped a little girl? They get recognition, acting parts, and even Academy Awards. It IS sexism, because other A-listers have cheated and they have never suffered the backlash she is suffering.
No, I know. I’m not sure if I’m explaining myself clearly enough. I think that the backlash itself IS sexism – the people who are basically calling Kristen Stewart the worst human ever, all the business about the Snow White sequel. But people so often say that the way Kristen gets so frequently reported on while Rupert Sanders has slipped away is sexism, and I really don’t believe that part is. People just want to know the details, and people care way more about Kristen Stewart than they do about Rupert Sanders.
The way the gossip is discussed, I’ve seen, can often be sexist, but the amount of gossip about Kristen vs. the amount of gossip about Rupert isn’t, and that’s what I was trying to say in the original post.
I agree with her Rupert Sanders is getting off with nary a word and he is the more responsible person he is married with children not Kristen. But now she knows married men who run around are nothing but lying self centered bastards. I know Kristen is a smart young woman so I am sure the lesson has been learned.
Angelina took the fall (and still takes the fall) for what happened with her, Brad Pitt, and Jennifer Aniston. Hardly anyone blames him. It’s all “Angelina stole Brad from Jennifer.” Even if he was more well known than Kristen Stewart, she would get all of the blame. Same goes LeAnn Rimes. Everyone, this site included, places all the blame on her. I do take into account that LeAnn Rimes constantly talks about her relationship, thus bringing some of the criticism on herself, but no one ever talks about him. It is sexism. They are both in the wrong, and if people are going to publicly criticize the situation, they both need to be criticized.

Men and woman can both be slutty. And that’s a good thing.
But the answer to avoiding slut-shaming isn’t “don’t be a slut.” It’s that people shouldn’t have such skewed ideas about the world that they think that being slutty is even remotely shameful.
CHEATING is bad, so if you don’t want to be criticized for “being a cheater,” don’t cheat, or at least don’t get caught cheating.
