Phenomenally awful. I’m sorry, but basically every single time that I see these photos of Miley out and about, I just have to sit and look at her for a minute, because I can never believe that it’s possible to look that bad. I can’t think of a single thing that she’s ever worn that I even almost liked. It’s all just … I can’t even think of words to accurately describe her style. The closest thing I can think of would have to be “meth lab chic.”
But thankfully, we might finally have a reason for why Miley dresses the way she does: tequila.
The 19-year-old former “Disney” actress had a wild time in New York City, drinking Patron tequila shots and partying (intimately) with friends into the early morning hours Tuesday.
Cyrus, who got engaged to 22-year-old Aussie actor Liam Hemsworth last month, arrived at the Electric Room on W. 16th St. in the Dream Downtown and sat with an entourage of about seven people in the small nightclub. Two security guards attempted to block prying eyes from the actress’ table in the 21-and-older venue.
But a very thin Cyrus made no secret that she was there, dancing on couches in jean short-shorts and a baseball cap.
The teen star enjoyed bottle service at her table throughout the evening and had drinks in her hand, which an insider confirms were tequila. Multiple sources say she did shots throughout the evening.
The “Can’t Be Tamed” singer’s good time extended to the group at her table as well. The source says at one point the former “Hannah Montana” star broke from her dancing to plant a kiss on a brunette female friend’s lips.
Another insider tells us the Electric Room wasn’t the “Last Song” actress’ only stop of the evening. Prior to the nightclub visit, Cyrus and her entourage were at PH-D Rooftop Lounge, the top floor venue in the Dream Downtown. After the Electric Room, the insider says they traveled back upstairs to the penthouse club and left after 4 a.m.
“She loves New York,” says the initial source about Cyrus’ late nights in the big city.
I was so close to ignoring that entire story, but then I saw the part where she was wearing short shorts and a baseball cap. That’s Miley!
I can’t hate on her for drinking at 19, but unless she does shots while she selects every single item of clothing she owns and also when she puts them on her body, then I can definitely hate on her style. Because no. Just no.

On the up side, you apparently have good taste. On the downside, those are the new Chanel line and they’re $2900.00.
Can’t find a substitute either, easily. Low heel and a bright front zipper makes it harder.
But … you could create a cheaper copy by getting a long black zipper and lace-front boots (which are MUCH cheaper), then lace the zipper into the front like they do military boots.
BAM! Leather zip-front boots just like Chanel’s for ~$300 – 500 in leather; $150 – 200 fake leather.
The shorts … I couldn’t find. I found over a hundred ALMOST like them. I probably missed them at hot topic or aeropostale or something. :/
(No. Not at either. Or Abercrombie.) Oh well. Checked 40+ lines and no dice. She’s got a thread coming down from the right (your left) side of her shorts, so perhaps they’re custom.
I did find some longer pants in that style, so it is possible.
Anyway, they’re cheap. The boots’re expensive.
Clearly she is practising being Australian :) She fits in here perfectly, we are all drunk and scantily clad! haha
