No? I didn’t either. I cuddled with the kitty and watched Drive instead, so if there were any earth-shattering moments or amazing performances or backstage gossip, I haven’t heard about it yet. Nope, right now, all I know is who won what award.
That’s why I used that old picture of Adele up there, because even though she wasn’t even in attendance, she won all of the awards. Surprise, right? Well, ok, she did lose a handful of the awards that she was nominated for, but she won eleven, so that’s nothing to scoff at. Another neat thing is that she beat Lady Gaga in each of the seven categories that they were both nominated for. Small miracles.
Other notable wins include Chris Brown‘s for Top R&B Artist and Taylor Swift‘s Woman of the Year Award. I don’t understand either of these for very different reasons, and I don’t understand how Coldplay beat Mumford & Sons four times.
