Oh my. Oh my. This is what we have to look forward to on the upcoming season of Jersey Shore? This? Because seriously, I don’t think I’ve heard anything that made me cringe harder in my life, short of maybe Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner’s fairytale wedding.
Also? Snooki’s going back to her her home state for fights in Poughkeepsie, NY. From the Poughkeepsie Journal:
Like a Roman emperor presiding over a battle of the gladiators, so, too, will the “Princess of Poughkeepsie” preside over the May 12 “Irish Invasion” pugilistic promotion at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center, as “Jersey Shore” star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi will bring her second Team Snooki Boxing event right here to the City of Poughkeepsie. Among the fighters already announced to fight on the card is Ireland’s Patrick Hyland … at 6:30 p.m. on May 12, with the first bout set to start an hour later.
Team Snooki Boxing is a joint venture between “Snooki,” her dad Andy and local promoter Brian Burke. This is the second time the promotion is putting on a fight card, having found success on — ironically — the Jersey shore in their first outing back in February.
Leading up to that first card in Atlantic City, I spoke with “Snooki” about joining the fight game and how much she enjoyed working with her dad on the promotion: “My dad started with the whole boxing thing,” she told me at the time, during our interview. The May boxing event will be the latest local appearance the Marlboro High School graduate has made in the past year-and-a-half, having thrilled her throngs of young fans several times already around town.
So that’s super. And super-classy, too. Hosting boxing events while you’re however-many-months pregnant, awesome! Just like how girlfriend wasn’t going to appear in the clubs, too, because there’s apparently nothing worse than being a pregnant club-rat. That’s awesome, too.
You’re just having an awesome, awesome pregnancy, Snooki. I can’t wait to see how awesome of an awesome mother you’re sure to be!
Is it me, or was this an old picture? She doesn’t look pregnant in this photo. She just looks like her normal chubby self.
