So hey, here’s another film about the Beat Generation – Kill Your Darlings, a movie about … well, IMDB says it best as always:

A murder in 1944 draws together the great poets of the beat generation: Allen Ginsberg, Jack Kerouac and William Burroughs.

Is this going to be a thing, now? Movies about Jack Kerouac and the Beat Generation and all of that business in between? Some of you guys MISREAD MY POST and REAMED MY ASS over the last thing I wrote about the Beat Generation films, but hey. I guess I can’t be crystal clear every time, now, can I? This movie, however, sounds pretty interesting. It stars Daniel Radcliffe, Michael C. Hall, and Elizabeth Olsen, among other stars like Kyra Sedgwick, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and David Cross, with Daniel playing the part of Alan Ginsberg, obviously. Here’s a photo if you don’t have the resemblance envisioned in your head already:

Almost uncanny, right? But the hair! Oh dear, the hair. Yes, I know that it’s actually not *that* bad, and as usual, I’m dramatizing, but I’m sorry. I just cannot look at Daniel Radcliffe and not think ‘Harry Potter‘, so yes, that apparently makes me One of Those People who’s too dense and narrow-minded to realize their favorite movie stars as anything other than what they think they should be (in this case, Harry Potter). Bummer, I know.

The movie debuts in 2013, and if the world is still around that long, you can bet that Daniel here’s going to garner some pretty awesome praise for his sure-to-be spot-on portrayal of one of America’s legendary poets. And how about that resemblance?
