I’m just finding this out now, as a surprise while researching photos of Jonathan Brandis playing the aforementioned It character? … OH. I see that it was back in 2003. 2003 was one of my ‘lost’ years, so I guess I could see how I might have missed it. But dead? He hanged himself? Are you kidding me? Oh my God. No, no one’s joking – and I suppose that wouldn’t be a funny joke to make, but damn. Talk about springing an unpleasant surprise on somebody when they least expect it! And now I have to continue on with this post as if nothing ever happened? Can we at least have a moment of silence for Jonathan Brandis – nine years later? Wow. My mind is just blown.

I’m actually kind of surprised this was a guessing post because she looks exactly the same. I’m usually awful at this and when you said (late, great) JB, I thought you were talking about the Jason Bateman look-alike, b/c the little one was so clearly Gwen and it was a total whatchutalkinboutwillis moment. Anyway, I remember Jonathan Brandis dying, Tatiana Ali’s reactions and watching Ladybugs on repeat for a week. Now I’ve got to see if SeaQuest DSV is on Netflix. Never forget the talking dolphins.
