Miranda Lambert Slams Chris Brown for Performing at the Grammys

Oh, wait – that headline should read ‘Everyone slams Chris Brown for performing at the Grammys’. Because practically an entire troop’s worth of celebrities did as well. Here are two of Miranda’s original Tweets:

But as I said, she wasn’t the only one who thought that Chris would have been better off sucking a giant d-ck in prison rather than performing (um, twice) at this year’s Grammys. From E! Online:

Nestled among the incredulous was Modern Family’s Eric Stonestreet.

“Are Chris brown’s mom and dad CBS and Grammy Brown?” he asked.

Fellow small-screen big name Sherri Shepherd also offered up her point of view: “Looks like all is forgiven w Chris Brown. That’s all I’ll say.”

But other stars were just getting started.

“Chris brown…people don’t forget! #chrisbrownbeatswomen” Jack Osbourne tweeted out. “If Chris Brown had worn a wife beater, the irony would eclipse the whole show #chrisbrownbeatswomen.”

Michelle Branch also added to the pileup of disbelief, tweeting, “Trying not to go off on a rant but…Chris Brown…*bites tongue* have we forgiven him? #Grammys.”

Seemingly answering that very question, at least for himself, was Ethan Suplee. “Why wasn’t Chris Brown fired from ‘music’ (public dancing) when he beat up that girl?…Dear ‘thugs’ and ‘gangstas’ of the hip-hop industry, how is it that none of you ‘handled’ Chris Brown? #thuglife #prisonrules #getsome.”

Of course, sometimes the best response is the simplest, which was supplied in this case by Wil Wheaton.
“Everyone who apparently forgot what Chris Brown did to Rihanna should read the police report on exactly what he did.”

Right? And I agree. Whatever business the Academy thought they had pulling Chris Brown into the mix – oh … wait. Ratings. Right. – goes far beyond my realm of understanding, but that didn’t stop him from doing his normal “Ima flip shit all over you grimy motherfu-kers” and run his foul-ass mouth. Nope. This is how Chris has been responding to the thrashing that his fellow celebrities have been giving him since this past weekend:

HATE ALL U WANT BECUZ I GOT A GRAMMY Now! That’s the ultimate F-CK OFF

Strange how we pick and choose who to hate! Let me ask u this. Our society is full of rappers (which I listen to) who have sold drugs (poisoning). But yet we glorify them and imitate everything they do.

Then right before the worlds eyes a man shows how he can make a Big mistake and learn from it, but still has to deal with day to day hatred! You guys love to hate!!! But guess what???

F-ck you.

Which, of course, have – surprise, surprise! – all been pulled from his Twitter account – probably by his agent or publicist or zen adviser or whatever the f-ck he’s got going on these days. Definitely not him, though, because he’s just too stupid to realize that there’s a time and a place to run your mouth – unless you’re Chris Brown, and then you’ve got no time and no place to do it as long as you live. He sure sounds rehabilitated, doesn’t he.

  • he didn’t learn shit from this! and excuse me but if i’m not mistaken rappers that sold drugs were selling them when they lived in the hood and needed to make money to help support their family-i do NOT equate that with beating a woman. and yes, selling drugs is bad but pardon me i believe BEATING THE SHIT OUT OF YOUR GIRLFRIEND is way worse. ever since it happened he’s like “ok don’t slam me for this” like he got caught with drugs or something-he somehow felt like the victim from the time he plead guilty HE’S SUCH AN IDIOT

  • He has learned nothing. I however have learned that we are overall spineless pussies that put up with any crap if someone has shiny pretty things and a bit of money to throw around. The most disgusting part of this is women coming forward to say things like “aww he is so gorgeous he can beat me anyday”.l

Apparently beating your girlfriend is OK and many will come back begging for more. That is what I have learned.

    Sick.

  • Have you ever seen posts about Chris Brown after his fans (*GAG*) get ahold of them? Comments like “he can beat me any day” and “I don’t know what Rihanna was complaining about” are the most inoffensive things you’ll read there.

  • First thing, I do not even like Chris Brown. Never have, never will! That out of the way. I have been an Investigator and Security Consultant for 22 years. I have also been on the other side of false abuse alligations. It usually happens that the person being accused is never around when the person making the alligations is talking to the Police. The so called injuries do NOT fit the alleged abuse. I have seen three different set of pictures of the same alleged abuse injuries and all three sets of pictures were different. I have seen many actual injuries in my life. I can always tell when injuries are faced or not from the alleged crime. Rihanna’s injuries (shown in the photos) do NOT fit the alleged report of abuse. She had “bruises” in her eye sockets yet not on her cheek bones or outer parts of her face. How can someone get bruises in their eye sockets yet not on the parts of her face that would have had to had contact yet no bruising or marks. The few marks Rihanna did have on her head did not fit with the description of the abuse. I have seen many real and faked injuries. The injuries in the photos were makeup, and not very good makeup at that. This reminds me of the kid who had injuries on his face. He claimed that he got the injuries from falling off his bike. Yet, the kid had no injuries on his hands or arms or even legs. Definately a lie.
