This is Karlie Kloss, and she’s ranked as one of the up-and-coming top models of the world. She even did a Victoria’s Secret debut earlier this year, which puts her to the likes of Gisele Bundchen, Miranda Kerr, and Heidi Klum.

Ha! That was amazing! Reminds me of this movie with a young Liz Taylor I was watching this weekend, in which after her character has a baby, we see her gazing at her (perfect, curvy) figure in a mirror and lamenting, “I’ll never be a size 10 again!”

She looks like a great candidate for a telethon, especially in that first picture. Tell me she ain’t one of “Jerry’s Kids!”
Karlie looks great and has always been tiny since she entered the industry. I know it’s hard to believe but there are skinny girls in the world and that is ok. Women come in all shapes and sizes and just as it is rude and uncalled for to ridicule someone for being overweight, it is also rude to make assumptions about thin people’s bodies.
Also it is so ignorant to blame the fashion industry for eating disorders. Fashion is influenced by culture you and I are a part of.
But fashion *also* affects society – it’s a circular process, and it just keeps feeding itself (or starving itself, as the case may be). And yes, some people are naturally thin, but I really think there’s a difference between being naturally thin and being able to see someone’s internal organs. That being said, I think Karlie is beautiful (especially in the body profile shot), and I’m not too worried about feeling insecure about my body given the fact that there are pictures of Kim Kardashian in the sidebar right now, reminding me that boobs and a big butt are beautiful, too. =)
Vogue chose her because she’s a human clotheshanger. Clothes hang on her body perfectly.
But beautiful otherwise? Yes, if she gained some weight.
People have a hard time understanding that the hanging concept and a perfectly symmetrical face will make you an “it” girl; they just focus on the effect the images have on society.
Who cares? Don’t let it have an impact on you or your kids. There will be bad influences in every form of media; who cares if fashion’s next girl is skinny as hell? It shouldn’t impact you so much as to cry about it. Don’t expect TV, corporations, fashion or music to raise your kids.

I didn’t see everyone on here calling her gross. People have opinions. In some peoples opinions, she’s gross. Most likely because, she’s extremely skinny to the point of looking very unhealthy. Not everyone has to agree with you, I’m sure there are celebrities you think are gross as well.

That being said, she probably comes by her body naturally. She’s skinny and wiry; it’s an esthetic just like any other.

You can’t see her organs, they are muscle and bone creating all that dimension. She is beautiful, though I don’t find her appealling at that weight. Don’t like it, don’t look at it. Get over it. It’s your job to teach your kids how to be HEALTHY not yank them around about how it is or isn’t ok to look.
