“There’s a certain way people are used to seeing nude women, and that’s in a submissive, coy pose, not looking at the camera. And in this poster, I’m looking dead into the camera with no expression on my face. I think it freaks a lot of people out.”
On the difference between the original Swedish portrayal of Noomi Rapace and her own:
“One of the things that make our version that much more heartbreaking, is that even though I am playing a 24-year-old, I look much younger. I look like a child.”
“I don’t have a trust fund. I grew up in a little cul-de-sac in the suburbs and went to public school. I went to Costco on the weekends. When my great-grandfathers founded those teams it cost, like, $500. My dad is one of eleven children. I am one of 40 grandchildren. What bothers me about the whole trust-fund thing is that it sort of presumes that everything is handed to you. And if there is one thing about my family that I do identify with, it is that everyone is extremely hardworking. Also, the people whom I grew up with all did things they really loved. And I think that’s an important lesson.”
On the media circus sure to surround “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” upon its release:
“That kind of fame is not something I ever wanted for myself. It just so happens that this huge, gigantic monster of a film came around that also happens to have the most incredible character that I ever could have dreamed up. But my fear with a movie like this is the kind of exposure you get from it. I think that can be death to an actor. The more people know about you, the less they can project who you are supposed to be. It’s unfortunate that you really only get one shot at that. After this, I won’t be able to be that girl again.”
Here’s some photos of her and Eddie Cibrian at an airport! Yes, this is what LeAnn chooses to fly in – skin-tight (oh, my bad; bone-tight) red minidresses and six-inch heels. Must be way comfortable for those trans-Atlantic flights.
I suppose we don’t have to guess what LeAnn’s being for Halloween – it’s apparent that she’s totally knocking off Skeletor.
Did you watch? No, of course you didn’t. Don’t lie to me. It isn’t being televised until Tuesday, but we have the list of winners so, you know, you don’t have to watch the show. Or, you can watch the show with your mom and pretend to be all pre-cognitive and name the winners before they’re even nominated. That’d be fun, huh? Moms are way into pre-cognition, unless you’re like Carrie’s mother, and that shit business gets you locked in a Jesus closet. Ahem, anyway, here’s the complete list of winners (spoiler: Harry Potter takes all, bitches!):

Can you guess the lucky lady riding shotgun in Brad‘s car? Why it’s none other than Jennifer Lopez. Yup. Jennifer Lopez. I know she’s covering her face quite well in this photo (which is courtesy of People, so thanks, guys), but eyewitnesses claim that it was Jennifer who emerged from the vehicle and Jennifer who probably went right home with Brad, since there was probably no way they were headed out for dinner with her hair looking that crazy.
I know when my hair gets like that, the only place I go is my living room with a blanket and a pillow to watch Paranormal Witness.
I would like to tell you that the term “retard” is very offensive to me. I am not offended because I ASSUME it would offend someone who has mental retardation. I am offened on how the word came to...
I am not offended that Rosie has a fear or anxiety of LP. I feel that when someone knows very little about things and or people they tend to be anxious. Think about it if you had never been around someone...
