Here’s Lady Lovely Locks, AKA teenaged Adrian Grenier, in what must be the most magical 1990s senior photo ever composed. He stares doe-eyed into the camera’s flash, looking directly into the glowing vortex of his bright future. I especially love the way Grenier’s flowing locks—which accentuate his natural widow’s peak so beautifully—kind of create an aesthetic dissonance with the bow tie. (The only thing that can explain Grenier’s hair: he immediately went on to college to study molecular biology.)
I’d almost given up on Beyonce. I’d almost thrown my hands up in the air and said “girl, you’re beautiful, I respect you, but oh my god, I just can’t listen to your music anymore.” That was right after her last music video, and when I saw that she’d released a new one for her latest single, “Best Thing I Never Had,” I was way concerned that it would be the final straw, but I actually love it.
Look at her sweet bridal lingerie! And her gaudy, tacky wedding dress! And the way she sings lines like “you showed your ass and I saw the real you” and “bet it sucks to be you right now” while looking so classy and flawless! I sincerely love it. What about you guys?
I am an absolute mess over this Harry Potter thing. I was tearing up looking through all the photos of the premiere last night, but then I saw this video, and I had a little baby sobfest. Here, let me break down this video for you so we can see if we get emotional over the same precious things/so you can make fun of me more specifically:
0:28 – Daniel Radcliffe warms me up, gets me feeling a little teary-eyed. It’s ok though, I’m fine, I got this.
1:01 – Did you see where Daniel said that he got lucky and Emma Watson starts shaking her pretty little head? I love how much these kids love each other.
1:29 – Anyone who ever shipped Harry and Hermione is wrong. But isn’t Daniel Radcliffe the most precious little man?
2:16 – This is where I couldn’t hold it anymore and started my ugly, noisy crying and startled the dogs. This part went on for several minutes.
4:41 – “What you’ve done for ginger people …” Amen, Rupert. Amen.
5:16 – I don’t care how sad you are, JK Rowling, you never, ever joke about writing another Harry Potter. You never do that. Don’t you say those words unless you mean them.
8:42 – “The stories we love best do live in us forever, so whether you come back by page or by the big screen, Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home.” I completely lost it here, and I’m doing it again right now.
We need a support group for this movie, I’m pretty sure. You guys plan it in the comments, I’m going to have to go cry in the fetal position for a while.
A few days ago, Victoria Beckham made the comment that she didn’t want to pull a Mariah and pose pregnant for a magazine, which is perfectly respectable. “Not like there’s anything wrong in that,” she said, “I’m so proud to be pregnant and I feel so blessed and so happy, I really do. But I’m just not that kind of person.” And that’s fair. I’m not even going to be snarky and suggest that maybe it’s just that she doesn’t want to be seen weighing over 100 pounds.
David Beckham, however, decided to push his wife’s wishes to the side and secretly snapped this picture of Victoria, then posted it on Facebook with this caption:
‘Took this pic of Victoria while she wasn’t looking. She looks amazing, so close now to the baby being born!’
David is right, their little baby girl is due any day now! Let’s go ahead and make some “welcome to the world” cards for little Santa Beckham so we can be ready when she gets here, ok?
It’s true, everyone looked absolutely gorgeous. Daniel Radcliffe just looks so adorable in his little suits, and I don’t care for Emma Watson‘s dress, and it’s clear that she had some trouble with it, but of course she was lovely. And I could go on and on about Alan Rickman and Tom Felton and Jason Isaacs and Domhnall Gleeson, the guy who plays Bill, but I won’t. I’ll just say that hot damn, there was a lot of magic going on at this event (GET IT?!?!?!).
I would like to tell you that the term “retard” is very offensive to me. I am not offended because I ASSUME it would offend someone who has mental retardation. I am offened on how the word came to...
I am not offended that Rosie has a fear or anxiety of LP. I feel that when someone knows very little about things and or people they tend to be anxious. Think about it if you had never been around someone...
