I know, I’m judging myself too, but check it out:  I’ve only ever watched about two and a half episodes of The Bachelor, and it was the season with Jake and Vienna.  I watched it mostly because my friend forced it on me, but a little bit of it was because I think Jake is one hot ass motherfucker and I’m always down for some solid dramz.  And let me tell you, friends, this new season of Bachelor Pad is going to be nothing but solid dramz.

Jake and Vienna, who were engaged at the end of their season of The Bachelor, had a nasty breakup last summer.  In front of everyone.  And now, both Jake and Vienna, as well as Vienna’s new boyfriend, are all going to live together.  In the same house.  And it’s going to be televised.  Can you even stand it?!

I don’t want to say that I hate Ashlee Simpson, but I kind of hate Ashlee Simpson.  I don’t like the way she’s treating poor little Pete Wentz, and these here photos are doing a nice job of fueling my rage all over again.  Look at his little happy smile – he just loves his little family so much! Pete Wentz is a tragically beautiful man and Ashlee Simpson is a vicious harpy, and these pictures prove it.

Man, it’s been a wild and crazy ride with Selena Gomez these past few days, huh? First there was the hospital trip on Thursday night, then the cancelled concert on Friday night, then she was fine yesterday, but now she’s back at the hospital.  But at least this time, we have a little clue as to what the problem is: blood pressure.

Sources tell us Gomez has undergone a number of tests for blood pressure issues, but so far … doctors have not been able to determine what is causing the problem.

Oh … as for the rumors going around she’s pregnant … totally untrue.

I love how they add in that bit about the pregnancy.  On the real though (do people say that, “on the real”?), I just found out on the Google that pregnancy can cause blood pressure issues, and you know the entire world would explode if a Bieber baby came into existence, so I feel like TMZ is just trying to settle everyone down.

Do you think Selena is having a tough time cooking up a Bieber baby, or does the girl just need to take a few personal days?

“Would I be okay with it if I found out Dexter was a serial killer? I don’t know. I’m glad it’s not up to me. I feel that that decision is in the writers’ capable hands and they will justify it, and it will be the hardest thing I’ve ever played but I look forward to doing it. Is there room for it? Certainly. I don’t know about you guys, but I absolutely LOVE Dexter. I would say that I live for it for about 12 weeks every fall, but really I just ripped through the entire series last winter at an alarming pace.  Like I remember on New Year’s Day this year I laid in bed with my best friend and watched the last eight or nine episodes of season five – the one with Julia Stiles, the saucy minx – and that’s how I knew this year was going to be a good one.

What do you think would happen if Deb found out Dexter’s secret (and don’t try and pop in with spoilers from the books, it’s a little different)? Regardless, can you imagine the tension that’s almost guaranteed to flood the sixth season?  Do you guys care about Dexter at all?  We have a lot to talk about here, friends.

Yesterday, we heard that Selena Gomez was taken to the hospital and stayed overnight for testing.  There was no word on what exactly was wrong with her, and there’s still no word, but it looks like she’s going to be all right:

A source tells E! News that Selena Gomez is “on the mend” and she is going to be “OK.”

Yay!

And that’s not all…

After cancelling her performance at the Santa Monica Place mall this afternoon, we find out that it has been rescheduled for Monday afternoon.

That’s all we get.  That, and Selena’s perfect boyfriend, Justin Bieber, skipped a hockey game to go see her.  I mean, it’s not like we’re entitled to know what exactly is going on in any celebrity’s personal life, don’t get me wrong, it’s just that I have a lot of curiosity in my soul, and some of you suggested she could be pregnant with a Bieber baby, and if that’s the case, then I’m sorry, but I need to know right this very minute.

In case you didn’t know, some seriously awesome people were born in the month of June.  I was born in June.  Sarah was born in June (her birthday’s on Monday, you guys, don’t forget). Jason Isaacs was born in June.  And if all of those awesome people who celebrate birthdays this month isn’t enough to convince you of June’s glory, let me just tell you that the divine Hugh Laurie was also born in this month – on this very day, in fact!

When we celebrate birthdays here, I usually like to include a photo gallery so we can all look back and smile.  I would do that with Hugh here, but I feel like he has a special brand of beautiful that doesn’t translate incredibly well though photographs.  And that’s why I’m going to show you some of my favorite clips so you can see his magic in action.  Enjoy!
