Today's Evil Beet Gossip

Look, Everyone, Lindsay Got A Job!

See, house arrest is not only tons of fun, it’s also super lucrative!

Our girl Lindsay has, once again, managed to make lemons out of lemonade. As you can see in this dazzling advertisement above, Lindsay is pumping up Beezid.com, a pretty sketchy looking penny auction site, and you know what she got in return?  Yeah, we don’t either.  All we know is that the company offered Lindsay $25,000, she said no, and then they “came to terms for an undisclosed amount.”  Oh, and Lindsay got a $10,000 credit for the site, so I guess she’s going to own all of the things soon (seriously, right now you can get a laptop for ten cents, can someone explain this shadiness to me?).

You know, I think that any time now we can stop employing Lindsay Lohan, especially when we’re trying to teach her a lesson. That’s why she never learns, get it?

  • I Googled Beezid a little while ago to see what the deal was. Looks sketchy as hell to me! You pay 70 cents per bid, and it looks like they buy their own items and relist them. So if an item gets $10 of penny bids, Beezid makes $700. And then gets to relist the item, since they bought it at the last minute themselves. Perfect site for Lindz to endorse, seeing how they essentially get paid for doing nothing.

  • Jamie — That sounds so shady indeed. (I can’t post replies to comments, anyone knows why? I use Google Chrome).

    • Temporary fix: when you’re done with your comment, hit tab and then hit “enter.” That way, you’re just tabbing out of the comment field and over to the submit button, and then “enter” to submit the comment. It isn’t perfect, but it should work.

  • Same problem with Firefox. But I don’t bitch and complain about everything like Mireeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • Good for her. She was smart to take the job. What else is she supposed to do while sitting at home. Lot of haters out there trashing Lindsay, but that was a smart move, and any one of us would have done it.

I wish I could have made even 100 dollars to do that when I was home.

Nothing sketchy about Beezid btw. I know, I use Beezid, never had a problem with them.
