Okay, so I know I was just making fun of Lady Gaga two months ago and that you guys hate her too. I probably need to be put on mood stabilizers, but I NEED to post this clip for you guys because I think it’s important in a few ways.
Lady Gaga sat down with MTV last week (I’m guessing it was last week because she’s wearing the EXACT same hair and make up she wore on American Idol last week) and spoke to them about a painful experience she had growing up. Basically these mean boys in high school threw her in a trash can outside of a pizza place and it sounds like it was pretty horrible.
I can kinda relate to that because once these boys shoved me in a duffel bag and dragged me around the playground in 5th grade. Look, I think we’ve all been there, okay? I mean, so what if she seemed like someone on Saturday Night Live doing an impression of her when she relayed the story? It’s kind of too tragic to ignore. I know, I’ve got a huge heart.
Maybe Gaga and I need to meet in the middle on this one. I’ll lighten up about how freakin’ craycray she is and maybe she can tone down the theatrics. Or whatever. Let’s just hug, guys.
Now THIS is the kind of protest I can really get into!
Yesterday Speaker Newt Gingrich was at a book signing in Minneapolis when one man decided to go in there and show him the error of his ways– by dumping a box full of glitter all over his face.
The video is pretty hilarious, but what you need to keep your eyes peeled for is the man that escorts our hero out to the elevator and saying, “Have you ever seen us at one of your events? Peace be with you.”
Yeah, no, I’m pretty sure that the anti-equality right doesn’t turn up at gay events unless they’re holding signs that read “GOD HATES FAGS.” I’m definitely not expecting to see Newt at Long Beach’s Gay Pride Celebration this week.
You may or may not know this, but when Lil Wayne went to jail, Diddy took over as Nicki Minaj‘s manager and guess what guys? The Head Barbie in Charge FIRED his ass today.
A source close to Nicki Minaj has confirmed to XXLMag.com exclusively that the femcee has parted ways with Diddy and James Cruz, her managers since she left Debra Antney’s firm, and is now being managed by Gee Roberson and Kyambo “Hip Hop” Joshua over at Hip-Hop Since 1978. HHS1978 also has Lil Wayne, Drake, Young Jeezy and Just Blaze on its roster.
Although the reason for her departure isn’t clear, another source tells XXL that Minaj was under the impression that Diddy would be more hands-on with her career, but was disappointed when she realized it wasn’t the case.
Seems like we’ve got a little bit of a diva on our hands, not that we didn’t already know that and not that that’s a bad thing. Or a well-deserved title. It’s kind of fascinating to me that Nicki had the courage to fire someone as well-connected and time-tested as Mr. Combs, though.
A bitch has to step her game up sometime, ya know?!
Me? Oh, personally I love it because her hair looks as shitty as mine does right now, but I know how worked up the rest of you get over your favorite stars go changing up their hair color.
Miss. Mulligan has had blond locks for awhile now, but as soon as she was cast in The Great Gastby, she went right back to brown. Yup, that’s the film’s director, Baz Luhrmann she’s pictured with here. Do you think this was a work meeting or is there even a slight chance that these two are getting it on?
Lady Gaga may describe her music as “fantasy techno rock” but I still think that that’s just a fancy way to say, “music that sounds like it’s popular in a country where they haven’t heard good music in 20 years so they’ll take whatever they can get.”
I mean, just watch this interview with FuseTV if you think you have the stomach for it. Gaga, as I always say, is one smart lady, if only because she spends a lot of time talking about shit that goes right over most people’s heads because it makes no sense. She’s amazing at making things that lack any sort of importance sound like they have a great deal of importance, which I guess is an art form in and of itself.
Gaga talks about being half woman/half machine, she talks about now allowing herself to be a puppet or a hooker, and fighting for what she believes in and all the interviewer did was ask her what “Born This Way” sounds like. It’s just a lot of talk for only a little bit of decent music.
I would like to tell you that the term “retard” is very offensive to me. I am not offended because I ASSUME it would offend someone who has mental retardation. I am offened on how the word came to...
I am not offended that Rosie has a fear or anxiety of LP. I feel that when someone knows very little about things and or people they tend to be anxious. Think about it if you had never been around someone...
