A photo of Amanda Seyfried

Amanda Seyfried, guys. I used to think she was pretty ok, you know, but I’m having some doubts now.  Mostly because she has a dead baby horse in her home that she calls art:

“I got another animal,” Seyfried tells the U.K. Press Association. “I’m going to share — I bought a three week old just this week, well it was three weeks old when it died, (it’s a) miniature horse.”

Umm, why?

“I love good taxidermy, it’s like art,” Seyfried added in London’s Daily Express. “A lot of people think it’s weird but I don’t know why.”

I’d wager that a lot of people think it’s weird because you have a dead baby horse in your home, but I already made my stance clear.  What do you guys think – is Amanda into some fancy art or am I right in thinking that this is totally creepy?

I think I’m scarred. I don’t think I can watch anything with her in it anymore.

I loooove taxidermy. i prefer insect/crustaceans though, nothing with fur…. i have a couple scorpions and 7 miniature crabs

I’m not some kind of PETA-bitch, but i just hate taxidermy… doesn’t make me feel nice…
If it’s for a natural history museum or something, then i get it.
but in someone’s house…i prefer to see live animals.

It’s weird because it’s fucking weird, moron. Has anyone seen her with “Mother” lately?!

There’s a difference between good taxidermy and bad taxidermy. It just depends on the person that did the work, no different than bad roofing, carpentry, eletrical, etc. Now that being said there are some extremly talented artists in the taxidermy world where the “dead” animals look just as good or if not better than the live ones.
