Shannen Doherty’s Latest Humiliating Career Move

I just read that SyFy is still hard at work at ruining my childhood memories and I thought I’d share it with you guys. This time they’ve casted 90210‘s Brenda Walsh AKA Shannen Doherty, in a remake of the classic fairytale “Hansel and Gretel.” Because the public is so clearly longing for an update on this story. *Yawn*

Here’s the description of the flick from bloody-disgusting.com:

“As an adult, a witch hunter (Hansel) returns to the village where he lived as a child to find and kill the witch who killed his sister, Gretl (Doherty), only to find that Gretl is not dead and danger lurks around every corner.“

Is this all of Shannen’s bad karma catching up to her? Are there any SyFy fans out there who can speak to whether or not these SyFy Original movies are any good? I mean, it’ll be a hard sell on your part, but I’m willing to listen to your take on things in the comments…

    They’re not good in an Oscar worthy sense, but they are a hell of a lot of fun!

    The syfy movies have porno level acting, writing and special effects.
