You’ve all had your chance to weigh in on Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way,” and the majority of you guys are not fans. And if you hate Lady Gaga, then I know who you just have to adore – Katy Perry!*
For what it’s worth, I like this version more than the original. Then again, it doesn’t make me feel like I’m right on the brink of having a seizure for four straight minutes like Lady Gaga’s music does. How do you guys feel about Katy Perry’s cover?
*Of course I’m joking. It’s sort of an “all or nothing” thing with these ladies, right? I’ve never heard of someone being like “Oh, Lady Gaga, fuck her, she’s worthless. Hey, can you put on “California Gurls?”

I gotta say, I’m soooo down for spreading the message of sel love and equality, but if another leading pop star was ripping my shit while it’s still hot on it’s debut I would be PISSED. Katy P needs to let gaga have her cake and keep her sticky fingers outta the icing.

I definitely prefer the acoustic version better, as well as Katy Perry’s lower octave. She really does herself a disservice with all that nasty belting she tries to do and her voice get lost in it. I love hearing her do acoustic songs and this really showcases her voice well.
