Demi Lovato was shipped off to rehab a little while ago so that she could work out some emotional problems she has, but even in treatment she’s paying for her past bad behavior.
Alex Welch’s high-powered lawyer Donald Karpel revealed he and Demi’s lawyers are moving towards a settlement.
“Alex is seeking a settlement, an apology from Demi and a donation made to a charity of her choice,” Karpel told RadarOnline.com.
Karpel said that he is working with the firm that representing Lovato and “has faith that we will reach an amicable settlement.”
Welch was scheduled to do an on camera interview with RadarOnline.com and other media outlets on Tuesday, but Lovato’s camp asked the young dancer to hold off on interviews while their case is being negotiated.
Uhhh, listen. I suppose there’s something admirable about this young dancer bypassing her opportunity to get rich for taking a punch to the face from a celebrity, but screw that. Dude, Demi Lovato punched her in the face. That’s like having someone hand you a sack of gold if you’re smart about it.
That dancer’s body wont stay forever Alex, but a few million in the bank might.
Nude photos of singer Christina Aguilera hit the web today and now we’re learning that, of course, the photos were of the never-to-be-seen variety. Christina’s rep spoke out about the photos today and said, “The photos of Christina Aguilera being leaked to the press were illegally obtained by a hacker who tapped into Christina’s personal stylist’s account. The photos were taken in the privacy of Ms. Aguilera’s home and were used only in a personal exchange between the star and her stylist. We are attempting to determine the identity of the hackers and will pursue them aggressively. Their conduct is reprehensible.”
We have a censored versions of the photos that were posted on Egotastic. Personally, I don’t find any of them to be much racier than things I’ve seen her wearing out in public, but stolen property is still stolen property.

Just when you think this psychopath couldn’t sink any lower, Rielle Hunter, the former mistress of politician John Edwards, is flapping her gums to ‘family friends’ to the tune of wanting to make her and Edwards’ relationship ‘official’ by gittin’ hitched.
Radar Online claims to have sources placed close to the Edwards family, and the inside makes no bones about stating that Rielle is practically about to sprint down the aisle, John grudgingly in tow:
“Rielle has been very patient through all of this. She still believes that John is her soul mate, and she thinks that they’re going to get married.”
On the topic of Elizabeth’s fatal illness, Hunter had been rather apathetic, and the sources say that her attitude almost bordered on outright scorn:
“She [Rielle] doesn’t care about anyone but herself. She’s been selfish and horrible this whole time, no matter what else has been said about her.”
Elizabeth, if, like Rielle, you’ve forgotten already, passed away yesterday at the age of 61.
Regardless of what you think of Katy Perry’s public persona and music (I am a fan of neither, save for “Teenage Dream.” C’mon. I’m a freakin’ human and that song penetrates my soul’s skintight jeans), the girl was one of the hottest entertainers of 2010, so of course it makes sense that Maxim would choose her as their cover girl for the first issue of 2011.
