A photo of Mel Gibson

Oksana Grigorieva held on to all the letters and texts that Mel sent her over the course of their relationship (because of course she did) and now she’s sharing them with the press (because of course she is.) The letters aren’t anywhere near as creepy as the voice mails were, but they definitely were kind of like… gross and awkward to read.

Take a look:

– “This is your capitalist pig landing his jet in Minnesota 4 customs! I have scarcely thought of anything but u since I left London! That is wonderful + sad because you are not near me! I need my little Russian to fill my soul.”

– “If u r up call me my dark eyed beautiful little communist! I miss u + by God, I love you”

– “Smoocherinos all over you!”

– “I love u madly as u can prolly tell by the extent to which fear of losing u can make me irrational.”

– “You conquered the monster in me with your love emanating from your truly beautiful + heart + soul.”

Ugh. Alright. So these are the kind of texts that any dude would send any girl (excluding the mentions of monster-conquering and communism, duh) and they’d be pretty cute if you liked him and totally pathetic and gross if you didn’t. Like, repulsive. Not to mention totally embarrassing. “Smoocherinos”? That’s something you say to someone you love so much that it’s made your brain soft and largely useless.

I’m dead on Mel’s behalf, that’s how embarrassed I am by everything that’s been brought to light about him the past several months. Dead.

photo of demi lovato disney star sent to rehab for eating disorder and cutting pictures

Demi Lovato recently admitted herself to a treatment center for help with her cutting and emotional problems and while everyone is citing a fight with one of her back up dancers as what made Demi realize she needed help, these problems have been going on for some time.

A source close to Joe Jonas, Demi’s last boyfriend, spoke to People and said that the two split because of Demi’s behavior:

…while Joe, 21, was dating Demi, she “was a true teenager in love.” But despite her feelings for the middle Jo Bro, he had to end things because “Demi’s attitude and behavior were out of control.” The report continues on to say that she was “a mess” and “tortured.”

It seems that Joe saw the troubling signs in Demi long before she broke down at the airport. The source also insists that everyone knew about her problems, including her battle with cutting: “‘It wasn’t a secret. She was getting help.”

There’s nothing funny about this, per se, but I would have killed to have been a fly on the wall during one of Joe and Demi’s fights. She’ll be fine. She definitely will. She’s 18 and doesn’t appear to be too into partying (I choose not to believe the reports that homegirl is a cokehead), but I’m sure those fights were some epic teenage drama.

The Real Housewives of New York City are filming their third season and we’ve just learned that some of the housewives will be taking a trip to Morocco on the show.

Kelly Bensimon, Jill Zarin and Countess LuAnn were all at JFK airport last week, checking in to Air Moroc. A passenger on the flight tipped off RadarOnline.

With Kelly, Jill and LuAnn involved, I’m wondering if it’s possible for them to take the drama-free trip they wanted to take last year… Do the three of them have any established drama that we know of? I’m pretty sure all three women were on good terms when the last season ended.

I’m holding my breath for Ramona to crash their trip.

When J.K. Rowling made her appearance on Oprah, she wasn’t able to say whether or not she was done with Harry Potter or not. Although the final installment in the series has already been released, she did say that there was always a small chance she’d cave and bring him back.

Daniel Radcliffe is not happy about that.

When asked about another installment in the Harry Potter series, the actor said, “Oh God, she promised me categorically that there wouldn’t be another book involving Harry. I think 10 years is a long time to spend with one character.”

So I’m guessing that we’re done with Harry Potter movies, too. Sadface.

Cher was on David Letterman’s show the other night and one topic that came up was her daughter, Chaz. Chaz used to be Chastity until she underwent gender reassignment story and started living as a man. Cher hasn’t always been the most supportive mother so her the explanation she gave Dave about her daughter’s current state has been ripped apart the last couple days.

Here’s what Cher said:

‘She was a lesbian. She still is. But it’s not the same now. She has a beautiful girlfriend. But it’s not the same thing as being a homosexual, you feel as if you’re in the wrong body. I was saying to someone the other day, I really like being a woman, I feel so comfortable in my body, and if I woke up and I was in a man’s body, I’d think oh my god, I’ve got to get out of here. And that’s the way Chas felt, it was never comfortable. He’s very comfortable now.’

OK, so I can understand why people might be pissed off that she called her daughter both a he and a she in the interview, but guys… Cher is like, old. And she’s Cher. Do I think it’s right that she hasn’t managed to figure out what gender her daughter is addressing herself as by now? Not really. Ironic considering how large her gay fan base is? Totally. But I can also see why this older woman who kind of lives in a bubble of her own fame would have a hard time nailing down all the trans-friendly terminology out there. It’s not easy!

I’m not saying that Cher didn’t mess up, but I think we should ease up on her until someday our own daughters come to us and tell us they’re living in the wrong body. Then we can see how second nature referring to your female child as a male is and judge as harshly as we want to.

“The last job I had was as an office manager in a little, tiny room where I literally wanted to strangle this guy because he was so loud and obnoxious. would go home with stress pains in my neck and my back. That’s when I went to my mother and said, ‘Look, I’m not going back to work.’ I’d been fired like 15 times because I had a horrible attitude. I worked at Red Lobster before that and I chased a customer out of the restaurant once so I could stick my middle finger up at her and demand that she give me my pen back. I swear to God I was bad.”

- Nicki Minaj in her Billboard Magazine interview, about what she did before she decided to focus on rap.

That Red Lobster story sounds like it could have been some of her best work.
