0Lil Wayne is Out of Prison

Although he was sentenced to a year in jail, Lil Wayne was released this morning after only serving eight months of time. I say “only” as if I didn’t count down the days to his release like the dude owes me money or something. I live for Weezy F. Baby.

But like Lohan and Paris, this went on for too long. Wayne was originally arrested all the way back in 2007 on these charges and put of his jail time for as long as possible before finally going in. The time leading up to his surrender was well spent (who else do you know of that can drop a #1 hit while technically behind bars?), but we could have ripped off this adhesive bandage like, forever ago.

Regardless, we’re glad to have you back, President Carter.
