I was kind of concerned that, you know, her parents weren’t exactly doing enough to keep their still-underage and therefore controllable-to-a-certain-extent daughter’s trashy antics under wraps, but never fear: Mama Lohan Momsen knew about the tit-flash the entire time. Actually, she was there for it, and now I am more repulsed than I was to begin with, and that’s saying a lot.
The Hollywood Life, site that brought us the footage of vapid Taylor singing in her monotone baritone to generic goth music, has exclusive details that Taylor Momsen’s mother, Colette, was in the audience and knew full-well as to her daughter’s plans to expose boobs that aren’t even two decades old. Or fully developed.
According to sources, Taylor’s mother was the only one in the 65-person audience that was not ‘shocked’ over the underage actress/singer’s actions, and played it rather coy and cool for the remainder of the set, cheering for her daughter and rocking out to the … music.
Now that’s one cool mom, you know? But you could have totally gotten that vibe, you know, months ago when the two best pals were photographed out together, just chilling in NYC, as depicted in the photo above. I mean, it just says it all.
Taylor Momsen is seventeen, not twelve. It may be because I am not excited by seeing breasts, but I still do not see what the big deal behind this is. And wasn’t she wearing stickers over her nipples?
I think that our country’s prudishness is a bit absurd, and that this “scandal” highlights that.
This isn’t a scandal at all. I’ve only heard this story here so idk where you got the idea that this was a huge deal.

I have known Taylor Momsen since she was a baby and I was her first photographer. To assume her mother ‘approved’ of her actions is ridiculous! Most parents have control over their children because their children can’t provide for themselves and their children don’t have unlimited access to money and outsiders driving wedges to separate them for their own greed. Every family has issues. No one expects celebrity to even happen and when it does its a tsunami. Her parents understood that she was a gifted child and did whatever they could to provide an avenue of opportunity for her to develop her gifts. She wasn’t a so called ‘normal’ child and would never have fit into a mainstream lifestyle. Every time we went to her house she performed for us and couldn’t get enough. If I could offer criticism it certainly wouldn’t be about them not caring. Perhaps they cared too much. We all think we are doing the right thing as parents and only hindsight is 20/20. They love Taylor immensely and are trying to navigate through this very difficult time in her life. They are a strong close family and I believe they will get through this because they do love each other.
