Megan Fox Is Doing Something Interesting!

Too bad it’s not a movie or anything.

According to E!, Megan Fox is “thisclose” to starring in Eminem’s new music video, “Love the Way You Lie,” which is a collaboration with Rihanna for those of you who don’t listen to Eminem.  That’s pretty neat, I guess – I haven’t listened to Eminem since “Superman,” and I don’t care much for Rihanna – but guess who else is already going to be in the video?

Dominic Monaghan!  Or Charlie from Lost or one of the adorable hobbits from Lord of the Rings. It doesn’t matter, because no matter what you remember him from, he’s going to be undeniably, preciously out of place in an Eminem video, and I cannot wait to see it.

And if Megan does appear in the video, she and Dominic will have some “really intense” sexy scenes.  Amidst Eminem’s rapping.  Why has this not happened years ago?

  • Oh I highly suggest listening to the song, it’s disturbing to say the least. It’s about Eminem’s past relationship with Kim Mathers, you know, the abusive, toxic relationship with the woman he constantly raps about murdering and dismembering. This particular song, however, deals with the real-life abuse he dealt her during their relationship, both physical and emotional.
For a second you might think, “Oh so Rihanna is featured singing about how awful abuse it and how you should get out of any situation that involves it.” WRONG. Her part is entirely excusing any abuse a man would do to a woman. An actual line is, “It’s okay because I like the way it hurts.”
Isn’t that a great message for her to be sending after we all saw what Chris Brown did to her face?
I used to really like Eminem, but this song disgusts me completely. And that Rihanna would actually agree to be featured on it saying that she likes the way it feels when someone pummels the shit out of her? Yeah, that’s great.
Oh, and it’s #2 on the Top 100 right now. Fuck our society.

    • I love the song, but not because I think either of the two parties is to be looked up to – it makes me really sad, because it’s describing a painful and dangerous relationship in a realistic way. I don’t think either Eminem or Rihanna is condoning the behavior they portray in the song. When Rihanna sings “I like the way it hurts,” she is singing the part of a woman in an abusive relationship who loves the man too much to get out of it – perhaps that’s a feeling she’s had before and can now look back on and sing about with honesty. She is in no way saying that this is a good situation. I think that’s the point – both of them have been in abusive relationships and have not necessarily done the “right” thing about it, and the regret and heartbreak is absolutely palpable in the song. Why “Fuck our society”? Because we like a song that’s emotional and realistic in many ways, a song that we can relate to and that can make us reflect on their own relationships with regret or relief, more than songs about dancing with ho’s at the club? I think such a candid song about abusive relationships is a good thing. If you actually listen to the song, it’s certainly not going to make you ignore or accept such relationships, but make you aware of how awful they are.

      • You are obviously insightful and intelligent, something that, unfortunately, many people are not. The subtle message that you perceive is not something that everyone (or even most people) will pick up on. I don’t think I’d have nearly as big of a problem with it if it were anyone else being featured, because it would not be so pertinent. But as a public survivor of domestic abuse I feel that Rihanna’s participation in this song is in the absolute worst taste. You might be right about the underlying meaning, but what we need is for women to scream from the rooftops that domestic abuse is not okay, and this song does just the opposite. It keeps the real message (if that is indeed the real message) hidden behind words of acceptance, and that is dangerous and irresponsible.

  • I can’t believe two people are debating the worth of a song glorifying any abuse. Period. Dummies. I want smack some sense into both of you but what’s the use. Society is doomed. 2012 hurry up and please come.

  • Gosh! Megan Foxx? It’s good for her, though, I mean, at least she will be able to do something in wich she doesn’t have to be good actress, very good actress, I mean.

  • Dear Megan,

Here my plea… PLEASE STOP NIP/TUCKING YOUR FACE. You are so stunning, and you won’t even be able to tell soon. It’s already taking you over – the chin, the jaw, the lips, the cheeks, the nose (actually, I think the nose was a good call – bravo), the teeth… ENOUGH.

    Sincerely,
    Daniella

  • I kinda like this blog. For some time, I have been trying to create one something like this as well, however I am not computer gifted on how to do it.
