Kristen Stewart is so aloof and moody that I would imagine her favorite song to be some Animal Collective joint or a Magnetic Fields jam or something. I really did not imagine that this chick’s music taste was as cheesy as her career choices. According to Kristen, her favorite song to listen to while she’s on set preparing to play Bella is something you might expect her tween fans to be rocking out to:
“I just listened to my normal music. Bella’s less tortured. She’s less conflicted. I mean … it’s the most she’s conflicted about the love triangle [but] that happens sort of at the end. But I don’t know, ‘The Climb‘ is my theme song — and I’m sticking to it.”
Hey, Kristen? Why don’t you listen to the soundtracks of the movies you’re in? Joan Jett or Florence and the Machine blow Miley Cyrus out of the water any day of the week. Ugh.

Always knew you were a music elitist, Molls. “The Climb” is a rather powerful song, as ridiculous as that sounds. Get some shitty chimes, static, kids talking, jumble the words around and make it 8 minutes longer, you might have yourself some Animal Collective.

This is why Kristen is right to keep her mouth shut most of the time – no matter what she does or doesn't say, she's going to be scrutinized up the wazoo about it, so why bother to open yourself to people who make a living gossiping about every word out of your mouth?
She does kinda look like Debra Messing. That would be a funny combo. I think random celebrities should hang out together for our amusement. Like David Schwimmer and Christina Aguilera at Applebees. I would enjoy that.
I like the climb, it's one of the only Miley songs I do like, but it's nice.
She has talked about her taste in music quite a lot in interviews. Van Morrison, The Shins, Radiohead, Camera Obscura, The Smiths – these are examples of what she has mentioned. When promoting Runaways – she took the role because of her personal interest – she said Joan was one of the few people she looks up to.
I think this shows just how little she cares about what people think of her – she obviously has an attitude, so people expect her to be or do certain things and have a certain taste in music or clothes or whatever – and then she says stuff like this; she likes Miley Cyrus.
I myself enjoy a Smiths album – who wouldn't? – but a catchy new pop song every once in a while doesn't hurt either.

She actually just stated at a Twilight convention this week that she absolutely loves the Eclipse soundtrack and that the Florence + The Machine song is her favorite. And if you are implying that she doesn't enjoy Joan Jett's music you are either unobservant or simply ignorant.
I enjoy The Smiths as well. I think Kristen's music taste is amazing.
