Bethenny Frankel is just learning that she’s pregnant on Real Housewife of New York City, but in real life, Bethenny’s been about to pop for a minute. Yesterday B and her husband Jason Hoppy welcomed their “4 lb. 12 oz., healthy baby” girl, Bryn Hoppy into the world. Four pounds!?!? Someone’s already a Skinny Girl!

The road to motherhood has been long and bumpy for Bethenny, who talked about her desire to get hitched and start a family frequently on the show. Bryn’s arrival may also allow another chance for Bethenny to mend her relationships with her castmates, particularly her former-BFF Jill Zarin.

Michael Lohan is out making public statements about his daughter again and this time he’s got some career advice, too. When asked by Us Weekly what he thought about his daughter’s plans to play Deep Throat star Linda Lovelace in an upcoming movie, Michael went off:

“Oh, I don’t even want to go there! What do you think? Come on! Seriously – why? She did Parent Trap, Confessions [of a Teenage Drama Queen], Freaky Friday, Mean Girls, Just My Luck and Herbie. And you know what? Georgia Rule was a fantastic movie. People don’t give her credit for it, but that was one of her best acting jobs. But I mean, she started with Parent Trap and now this? Why? Who makes these decisions? If I was there, it would never happen, believe me. There’s no way to resurrect your career after that. So many people have come to me with offers for Lindsay for great family-style films, general audience kind of releases, but you know … whatever.”

Well, well! Looks like someone has a Dadager in addition to her Momager! Too bad Michael wasn’t around to doll out this sage advice when his daughter was whipping her SUV up PCH while jacked up on coke and booze, huh? Between us though, I think he’s right. This movie seems like a last-stop for Lohan rather than another jumping off point. If homegirl can manage to keep her shit together while filming, everything she does has promise. We can’t forget that behind that vodka breath and those leggings is a pretty solid actress.

These photos of Ali and Lindsay Lohan gripping each other’s hands as they make their way through a swarm of paparazzi in NYC are deep, you guys. Really deep. Think about it: These sisters have been through hell recently. Lindsay’s been to court, had her father break into her house and then falsely announce to the Internet that she has HIV in the last two weeks. That’s a lot for anyone, but for an emotionally fragile Lohan? Far too much. Maybe the only thing keeping this girl hanging on is the literal and metaphorical unbreakable bond she has with her sister and her mother. It’s beautiful, guys. Really beautiful.

Wale hit up The Late Show with David Letterman last night to perform his single “Pretty Girls” and you know what? He was pretty good! I’ll be real: I am always underwhelmed by rappers’ live performances. I find that the genre doesn’t really lend to performing live… words get skipped, the performers usually just wind up yelling every third word and relying on audience participation to fill in the rest, but that was not the case with Wale.

The crowd was into it, too. When was the last time you heard a late show audience clapping along with the musical guest?

Sandra Bullock recently shocked the world by announcing that she had secretly adopted a baby boy from New Orleans, but if anyone listened to Jesse James’ ex-wife Janine Lindemulder, it wouldn’t have been much of a secret.

According to a statement that Janine made to Life & Style shortly after Sandy and Jesse adopted their baby boy in December of 2009, Jesse’s daughter Sunny accidentally told her mom about her father and step-mom’s new bundle of joy… and then Janine repeated whatever she knew right to the press:

“Sunny was on the phone and Sandra was right there trying to listen to what was being talked about. Sunny started to tell me she was really excited because somebody in the family was possibly pregnant. Then all of a sudden, the phone went silent. Sunny finally got back on the phone and said, ‘Oh, I can’t talk about that. That’s my secret with Sandy.’ I was upset, because you tell kids to please don’t keep secrets from your parents.”

There’s a host of reasons why Janine should be kept on a short leash when it comes to her interactions with her daughter, but the safety of her ex-husband and Sandy’s baby is definitely the best reason I can think of. However, Janine is willing to admit that her daughter has been in good hands with Sandy:

“Sandra’s organized and focused. She packs perfect lunches. She thinks of every little detail from sunblock to sanitary wipes and the perfect amounts of food. I can’t compete. If I could wish any stepmom for my daughter, it would be Sandra…She’s done a wonderful job with Sunny.”

With Jesse out of Sandy’s life, I’m sure that this toxic pornstar is more or less out of her life, too. Sandra has said that she intends to keep up a relationship with Sunny and Jesse’s other two children, so who knows how much longer Janine will be able to make statements about the state of her and her children’s lives. Let’s just hope there are no more secrets of this nature that need covering up for quite some time.

Just because the media has painted Rielle Hunter to look like a husband-stealing slut doesn’t mean that her family’s going to be her support system. In fact, Rielle’s sister Roxanne Marshall is going to join right in on the bashing. In an interview with Extra, Roxanne said the following about her sister’s affair with John Edwards and the one big thing that Rielle failed to mention in her interview with Oprah:

“They were married, she has cancer. She has two little children. She deserves some respect. I would like to tell Mrs. Edwards that I feel so bad about the whole situation, and in my heart, I feel for her.”

I have to say, while sticking with your family is always respectable, sometimes doing the right thing and apologizing to a woman that’s clearly been hurt by your kin is the better thing to do. I really respect that Roxanne made this statement because if I was related to Rielle Hunter, Michelle “Bombsell” McGee, Rachel Uchitel or any of these infamous mistresses, I would be both humiliated and saddened by their actions.

Do you think Roxanne did the right thing by apologizing to Elizabeth Edwards?
