Ok, so Law & Order got cancelled. To some of us, that might not be a huge deal.  To some of you, that might be devastating.  And this news is for you.

There’s a new Law & Order!  Get excited for Law & Order:  Los Angeles. See, it’s always darkest before the dawn, and this is the dawn. Can’t you just imagine all the crazy hijinks that will ensue in a brand new city?  So turn your frowns upside down and get ready for this new adventure!

In related news, Law & Order:  Special Victims Unit was renewed for another season, and there’s no word yet about Criminal Intent. Keep those fingers crossed, whoever actually watches Criminal Intent.

I don’t really care about Law & Order at all.  I never watched it except for a few times when there was a crossover with Homicide: Life on the Street.  Remember that show?  I don’t because I’m 21, but I have a secret crush on Richard Belzer so I went back and watched all the episodes.  That’s also why I cared about SVU until about two years ago when it turned absolutely ridiculous.  People on Livejournal write better story arcs than the writers of that show.

I guess that’s how this story comes full circle.  If you are upset about Law & Order being cancelled, go check out Livejournal.  You’re welcome.

Roman Polanski

Charlotte Lewis, a British actress who was in Polanski’s movie Pirates in 1986 (she was also the girl from The Golden Child with Eddie Murphy if that rings a bell), claims that when she was 16, Polanksi sexually assaulted her.  She didn’t provide any proof in her public statement, but she did give some kind of evidence to police.  An investigation hasn’t begun.

In her public statement, Lewis said:

“[Polanski] sexually abused me in the worst possible way when I was just 16.  He knew [how old I was] when he met me and forced himself upon me in his apartment in Paris. He took advantage of me and I have lived with the effects of his behavior ever since it occurred. I’ve traveled to the U.S. at my own expense to make sure that justice is finally done and that Mr. Polanski gets what he deserves. All I want is justice.”

Polanski hasn’t directly responded to these allegations, but one of his lawyers did say that “everything that has been said is a web of lies.”

Ok, now let’s look at some numbers.  Charlotte Lewis was born in 1967, which means she would be 16 in 1983, three years before the Polanski film was released.  Does that seem weird to anyone else? Could the girl not get out of a contract, or was there some kind of blackmail? You think she’s even telling the truth?  I don’t know, I’m just trying to start conversation.

There’s been a video making the rounds of these young girls doing an absolutely mind-blowing dance routine to Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” and it’s an absolute must-see. The video’s not embeddable for some cruel reason so click here to watch.

There’s a few noteworthy things about this video. First of all, the dancing is unreal. These little girls are SKILLED. Every single one of my girlfriends and I are cursing our parents for not enrolling us in dance when we were younger after seeing this video. What you also can’t help but notice? These girls are dressed like baby whores. A bustier, hotpants and kneesocks is arguably one of the most inappropriate outfits a little girl could be wearing, and yet they’re all wearing them and freak dancing like there’s no tomorrow. It’s actually a shame that such a talented group of little girls are overshadowed by a wardrobe choice that most certainly wasn’t theirs (The little blond girl who’s in the middle at 1:45 changed my life with her moves, I think.)

So here’s my question to you: Does the talent of these little girls overpower the outfits or is the skank-vibe hogging all the attention?

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian are still together it appears. The two were photographed making their way through an airport together this morning. Traveling together! Nice! I hope that LeAnn is pleased knowing that she’s been able to hold down the man she stole from his wife for over six months. That’s a sign that Eddie’s going to wait it out before he does the same to her. How romantic pathetic.

This is not cute, my friends. What Amanda Bynes has been doing on her Twitter lately is not cute.

It’s not the first time I’ve talked about this by a long shot, but I don’t think I can handle it anymore. I started following Amanda because I assumed she’d be cute and possibly funny. The girl grew up in front of our eyes and was always marketed as someone with comedic ability, so I thought I knew what I was getting into… but you guys? Amanda Bynes is insane. And if not insane, she’s emotionally stunted and extremely sad. These are the tweets of a 24-year old working woman! You’d hope that she’d have something interesting to say, but instead she incessantly Tweets “love quotes” and has one-sided conversations about God knows what all day long. It’s concerning.

What a poor message to be sending to young female fans. This love-obsessed bullshit is the kind of thing I expect from someone with country-bumpkin mentality. Amanda should have too much going for her to even be thinking about marriage, let alone spending her days and nights Tweeting about her obsession with it. Gross.

This is what I was talking about when I said that Twitter’s ruined celebrities. I was better off not knowing that this chick’s a fruit bat.

photos via TMZ

Here’s something unsurprising: When Kendra Wilkinson was 18, she looked ridiculously hot naked. TMZ scored the first stills from the Kendra Wilkinson sex tape that Vivid Entertainment is releasing and if it’s even possible, the Kendra in these photos is even sexier than the Playboy-era Kendra we’re used to. Is there nothing this woman can’t do?
