Catherine Zeta-Jones Needs to Shut The Fuck Up

Catherine Zeta-Jones

In a recent interview, Catherine Zeta-Jones said:

“I am not aesthetically beautiful.  I have a broken nose, I had a tracheotomy when I was a kid, I have broken capillaries and I’m always asking my husband ‘do I look fat in this dress? Can you see that spot on my face’.”

Is she serious with this?  If she is not “aesthetically beautiful,” then who is?  I understand personal insecurities and all that, but I hate it when unbelievably gorgeous women like Catherine Zeta-Jones complain about their looks.  What do you want, Catherine, gold skin and a personal blessing from Aphrodite?  Shut up and go be flawless.

  • I think the problem with stars is because they’re famous society instantly believes them to be beautiful. I’m impressed by her interview because it shows that even the “Beautiful” are insecure.

  • No, Emily, you are WAY off the mark. Even the most beautiful women in the world are insecure. She doesn’t see what we see when she looks in the mirror AND she is no longer a spring chicken. Plus, read a few British sites where she is trashed every day for her looks, hair, and makeup.

Grow up a few years and then you will get it. But, your little actress wanna – be ass won’t get that for AT LEAST another ten years. God, you stupid ass, dumb conceited bitches won’t get it until your best years are over. Youth is wasted on the young– I didn’t make that shit up. And yeah, I used be as stupid as you.

  • I agree with some of the above posters.. just because she’s famous doesn’t mean she’s not human like the rest of us.. and just because someone is famous doesn’t make them beautiful. most of those people are ordinary if you look closely. you know, JUST LIKE US.

  • Wow…since when are all the comments on this site from people who need to get laid? Em – you’re doing great. I agree that she can say she’s insecure about her looks, but does she really think she would have made it as an actress at all if she wasn’t stunning? She needs to say “I’m insecure just like any woman” and not “I’m not aesthetically beautiful.” Especially since if we take her logic all the way out, it means ANY woman who asks her husband if she looks fat in a given dress is BY DEFINITION not beautiful. One thing I can say…the woman isn’t the sharpest tool in the box.

    • I agree. There’s nothing wrong with what she’s saying,it’s how she says it. It reminds me of when skinny people go to their fats friends and say ‘Oh I’m so fat’, you have to be mindful of others, in her case, people who will read the article.

  • Catherine’s beauty has always depended on having a great make up and stylism on, which she can have because that’s what being a movie star is. She’s beautiful but has never been a natural beauty at all, and she’s 40 and human and works in Hollywood where looks and youth are everything. Some people look better when they keep it low, other people don’t, she’s of the second kind and there’s nothing wrong with that.

I think it must be hard in its own way to have pictures of you taken at all times and having everybody gossiping on them. I understand her, we all would feel insecure, no matter how pretty we are.
