Jason Alexander Mowed Down a Kid on Bike Today

Oh, George Costanza … you zany old character, you. Best pay attention when you’re driving, fool.

Reps for Jason Alexander confirm that the star was involved in a minor vehicle accident earlier this morning that involved a fourteen year-old boy ramming his bike into the Seinfeld actor’s car. The child suffered minor bumps and bruises, but was taken to the hospital for precautionary evaluation anyway.

Jason’s rep claimed that the star acted “responsibly” and stayed with the cyclist until the paramedics and parents arrived at the scene.

Alexander’s not being charged with anything, but the police have an open investigation in the case. Makes sense. This is Hollywood, after all.

Speedy recoveries to the kid and best wishes in preventing Jason from having a neurotic breakdown that can only be remedied by food. He did so well on Jenny Craig.

  • A 14-year old boy didn’t ram his bike into Alexander’s car. Alexander rammed his car into a 14-year old’s bike. There’s about a two-ton difference… and then you also have to take into account the weight of Alexander’s vehicle. Zing! :)

    • TMZ reported that the KID ran into the CAR. So, I guess that’s probably the way of it since those freaks are everywhere and see everything.

  • Did he “mow down” a child, or did the child ram his bike into the car? It can’t be both, and I find it pretty offensive to say he “mowed down” a child, especially if it wasn’t his fault.

Rebecca Gayheart mowed down a child. If this wasn’t his fault, it’s wrong to imply that he did.

    • You want facts? You must be new to this site. The “facts” aren’t based in reality around here they are determined by whatever the psychotropic effects are for the specific drug the staff writer happened to ingest that particular day. (or sometimes it is just due to their innate stupidity)

      Get with it Joy!

  • Yeah, WTF? First of all Jason hit the kid but he did not “mow him down”. If this site is going to start using the Enquirer headline style of journalism then it’s time to check out.

And while you’ve got me grumpy……the little “if you like this then you might like this” section you’ve tacked on has no relationship whatsoever to the story at hand most of the time. Just making for a more and more cluttered site.
If you want to revamp your look then maybe bring in a pro rather than cobbling together a bunch of clickities.

  • Well, that’s the only way this guy will ever have the word “HIT” associated with his name again.

  • You may want to put down the hash pipe while blogging. It would be nice if your “reports” made logical sense. While I’ve never considered the Evil Beet to be a credible source of news, it would be nice if what you stated at least, was consistent.

OK: Did the kid hit the car or did the car hit the kid??? I guess I’ll have to read a credible account of it in the Times.
