Scarlett Johansson Talks to InStyle Magazine About “Juiciness”

In a recent interview with InStyle magazine, Scarlett Johansson discusses her love for cooking and eating, for not going out and for being the antithesis of “social butterfly.”

In a self-deprecating tone, Johansson states that she’s “never” been a part of a “juicy scandal,” at least as far as she’s aware:

“You’re not going to find me at 4 a.m. hitting up the club, bottle full of bub … Maybe on a rare occasion. But I’ve just never been much of a clubby, nightlife kind of person. I’m not a social butterfly. I’ve never been part of a scandal that was really juicy.”

Maybe she thinks we all forgot about alleged love in an elevator with Benicio del Toro or her lurid affairs with Topher Grace, Justin Timberlake, Jared Leto and sexpot Josh Hartnett. I know I sure didn’t.

Johansson speaks freely about her domestic bliss in the latest InStyle issue and covers topics like her new family life and what she sees for her future. Spoiler: it’s all pretty bland. In a good way, though. In a good way.

I really adore this girl. I fell in love with her after seeing her in 2004’s A Love Song For Bobby Long, which is probably my most favorite movie of all time. If you haven’t seen it, you really should.

At any rate, I just think Johansson’s really down-to-earth and I can completely agree with what she’s saying about trying to avoid the party-scene of Hollywood. Lord knows it’s done wonders for Lindsay Lohan’s career … not that the two are even really comparable.

I wish her continuous luck on her relatively-new marriage to Ryan Reynolds (even though they kind of strike me as an odd couple) and hope that nothing negative ever happens to set her off into a dirty frenzy of Paris Hilton-esque celebrity emulation.

Or maybe I do.

Let’s just see how all this turns out.

Love you, Scar, baby!
