Today's Evil Beet Gossip

Quotables

“When all is said and done, he wants the same people who were living in his house before all this happened to still be living there. And he wants to save his marriage with the woman he loves more than anything in his life. He’s focusing on what he’s doing and trying to make himself better. The First Amendment was not meant to cover the sexual lives of people who are not in office. This is sheer voyeurism and bullying, pure and simple. It’s disgusting.”

– Jesse James’ attorney Joe Yanny pathetically defends his client once again.

Disgusting, Joe Yanny? I think the dog and pony show that your client, a skeezy cheater with a history of dabbling in White Supremacy, has been putting on for the public for years is pretty disgusting. So I guess we have that in common, Yanny. We both find things disgusting.

It’s so typical, guys. He’s not sorry, he’s sorry he got caught. And I still think we should back off the poor, self-esteem issues-ridden women that he slept with, too. They’re messes that, for the most part, never tried to convince us otherwise. It’s the deception that drives me wild. Who cares if you like to have raw sex with trashy people and you hate Jews? I mean, it’s not great, but what am I going to do to stop that? At least I know going in that that’s what I’m dealing with! Jesus!

  • Ha, ha – who is the bully here? Certainly not poor little white-supremicist-leaning, sexual harasser of women who evidently locked one of his employees in his workshop to punish her for refusing him (See: http://stupidcelebrities.net/2010/03/24/jesse-james-sexual-harassment-lawsuit-in-2007-revealed/) and who he settled a $700,000 suit without admitting wrongdoing.

Yes, pitiful Jesse is just an innocent victim who wants nothing more than to have a happy marriage – we all know that compulsive, unprotected sex with porn actresses is the sure-fire way to achieve that.

Well, that lame-excuse making lawyer is being well paid to stick up for his pathetic, suffering-from-his-own-stupidity client. I wonder if he’s the same guy who represented the sadly put-upon Jesse a mere two to three years ago.

  • Exactly.
If he cared about his marriage so much, he wouldn’t have screwed around. He just doesn’t like the consequences.
Don’t expect his attorney to be anything less than a scumbag. His client is a scumbag. They recognize each other.

Good new book out there called ‘The Tiger Woods Syndrome – Why Men Prowl and How to Not Become the Prey’ by Dr. J.R. Bruns and Dr. R.A. Richards.

Also website that helps women recognize con men like this who lie because it’s fun for them to do so. And easy for them to do.

Either of these might have helped Elin or Sandra tremendously in the beginning to make different choices in what otherwise appeared to the outside world to be desirable partners.

  • um, i don’t think the first amendment was meant to cover the sexual lives of those *in* office either. nice try bringing the first amendment into your lame argument, Yanny.

    • I think the attorney was referring to the defense to slander and libel – the First Amendment protects speech that would otherwise be considered slander or libel if the subject of the speech is a “public figure.” The attorney is, however, incorrect – the “public figure” exception extends not just to politicians, but also to celebrities and other figures who gain notoriety.

If you think about it, it’s one of the main reasons a gossip blog can exist – things that otherwise would be considered libel (written slander) are protected by the First Amendment by virtue of the fact that we’re talking about celebrities and not our next-door neighbors.

Just a friendly legal lesson for the day ;)

  • i really hate this…
of course the guy is a cheating scumbag who deserves no respect… but what if Sandra loves him so much she’s willing to forgive him? What if she wants to put this all behind her and get back together with her husband?
I mean… i think the fact that every single person in the media is telling her to separate from him, move out with the kids, or whatever, is a lot of pressure on her. People should just stay away from other people’s relationships!
Divorce or no divorce, please let them be the judges!

  • IMO..If Jesse loved Sandra sooo much..he should have stayed faithful to her, and all the media attention would not be focused on his cheating ass.

  • What disturbs me the most is that the first sentence of that assphat lawyers statement is almost a direct quote that Sandra Bullock gave to Barbara Walters just before the Oscars. BW asked SB where she pictured herself in 10 years, and part of her answer was that she wanted the same people with her and all living together in their house. For assphat lawyer to basically quote SB makes me want to punch his face in.

  • I can understand being so blinded by love that she was in denial about his cheating, but what about his love for all things nazi? How did she not know about that? He’s got stuff all over his office.

  • One thing I keep hearing over and over from multiple different people in regards to this guy Jesse James is that he is amazing in bed. Is it wrong that that intrigues me? I keep trying to picture just what he does that is so amazing. It makes sense though, he’s not rich, is not great looking, and by all accounts is not that nice of a guy. In order to nab someone like Sandra Bullock, he must have had SOMETHING going for him. So he’s great in bed. Again, what would that entail? I am intrigued! Is it his technique, do you think, or does he do unique things? Ok, now I feel kind of guilty for wondering about this.

  • All I’m going to say is that I love sandra to death and she has a great personality and she does not need to be screwed over like that!!!!!
