Some jackass engineer released this audio of Jennifer Lopez in the studio attempting to record her single “Enough is Enough.” GUESS WHAT? It wasn’t perfect on the first take. So now we all get to run around the Internet talking about what a talentless hack Jennifer Lopez is.
Ummm, singing is hard. And singing in a studio, all alone, to a song you’ve never heard before on the radio and the music — but not the melody — coming in over headphones? Is harder. This isn’t half-bad for an early attempt — it’s a hell of a lot better than what I could do — and I think she’s very endearing throughout the whole thing. She realizes immediately that she’s off, and she laughs and apologizes. Maybe she went on a crazy diva rant later in the day, but if this was her worst behavior in that studio, that’s a damn good day for an A-lister.
I still don’t like your album, Jen, but I’ve got your back on this bullshit.

I LOVE Jen Lo and she is truly a triple threat…get over the jealousy and really really listen to her voice and not her attempt tp find the right note.

the beet is correct about the fact that singing isn’t easy. wouldn’t it be nice if talent and skill were the most important prerequisites of becoming a recording arist once again?

If only comparing someones talent to our own obvious lack of talent in a specific skill such as singing was the bar on which we judged their ability.
Just because you cannot sing does not mean she is talented vocally.
The other day i heard someone say Miley Cyrus is a good singer because she can hold a tune…. I can hold a tune, anybody can hold a tune, that doesnt make you a good singer..
And being “not half bad” doesnt mean Jlo is good either. Not to mention that her singing is, in fact, pretty fucking bad & mediocre.

good point. another point is that any good singer would have already known the note. that’s what rehearsal is for.

I sing and this is how a first practice sounds. I don’t think it’s a big deal at all. her voice sounded good, although her pitch wasn’t the best. She’ll most likely get rapidly better at the song as she practices it, which is how it works for nearly everyone.
if you’re gunna make millions of dollars, you better be more talented than THIS! not worthy of my hard earned dollars, no way.
people can have bad days… im a singer, and i think im pretty good… but there are times that i can’t stand my own voice..
plus, i didnt think the end was that bad!

Ok to all you haters, Jlo is not talentless!! & ok she might not be the best singer but she has the charisma & the attitude to attract an audience!! Also this is said to be the first prct session in the booth, duh shes not gona b perfect! In my opinion shes great at almost everthing she does, & hey shes out there gettin paid & hustlin!

come on….. who even cares about the music, movies, dancin, and designer status. shes a biaatch in real life with her nose in the clouds and alot of celebrities have quoted that. But really though… shes not good at anything.. most of her movies flopped at box office or at least should have, music is lack there of, dancing i dont even no bout that, and if shes a designer idc. unfortunately shes just a sex symbol, and the year are taking that away from her. =(
i think jennifer is a perfect singer and a perfect actress
she has a very beautiful vois and she can sing very well
