Just wanted to throw in my two cents about Sarah: I really like her!
I don’t, especially since she writes ostensibly feminist stuff YOUR other site, Beet, and then anchors basically a post a day here with bitchy, humorless anti-woman low blows.
It makes me sad, because I really liked your style and I think Molls is fantastic. Kelly and Wendie were always so-so, but I have never read a more boring perspective on celebrity gossip than Sarah’s. In part I feel bad for Molls to have her writing put on par with Sarah’s crap. I’d feel bad for you too, except you have the power to stop this madness and fire her, except you don’t.
The funny thing is she’s not even good on Zelda Lily, which I guess makes it less surprising that she’s a damn hypocrite.
Anyway, good luck finding someone. Hopefully you use them to replace Sarah.
Molls is terrible!!! She can’t spell or write to save her life!!! As well, she describes someone as being a good ‘roll’ model. Please replace Molls!

im just glad the posting has been a bit more consistent lately.. i like molls & sarah, and i hope you find another talent…i come here for the comments as much as i do the writing and i think thats what really keeps this website going.

I haven’t actually read a single application yet. I don’t start reading them until after the submission deadline. It’s pretty standard procedure to advertise that we have a position available more than once, for people who aren’t daily readers.
