Helen Mirren, Jennifer Lopez and Meryl streep looked the best.
    And Sandra Bullock’s red lipstick.

The nude lipstick look was not flattering on anyone, least of all Barbara Streisand!

Why did they not include Farrah Fawcett in the Memorial clips?
    That was mean.
They included Michael Jackson, why not her?
She di several made for tv movies and was a huge name in Hollywood in the 70′s and 80′s.

I also noticed they left out Bea Arthur and Ed McMahon. I thought at first it might be because they were somehow not members of the Academy, but no: the big muckity mucks said they just didn’t have time to show everyone who died that year.

  2. C says:

I think Elizabeth Banks looks amazing. I disagree with Sascha.

But my favorite dress is DEFINITELY Tina Fey’s! Oh my god I want it!

  3. GreyEyes says:

Wow! I’m really impressed with all the dresses this year. All very interesting and beautiful.

  4. Ella says:

Oh, God. Sarah Jessica Parker looks like a tired hag in the waiting room of a well-recommended psychiatrist. I mean, who let her out of the house looking like that? Either her career, time, or alcohol has not been good to her.

  5. Ethel says:

Was Jack Nicholson there? He’s always there in one of the front rows. I guess Robert Downey was taking his place sporting the shades.

That is just disgusting. What a lack of respect.
I guess they can have a lame musical number in the middle of the show – bu not spend an extra 3 minutes on those who made Hollywood what it was and is.
That was REALLY cold. Perosnally, that means some muckety-muck decided some were worthy and some were not.

  7. Anne says:

sorry, I should have spell-checked. “personally”

  8. j says:

because j.lo and amanda seyfried are both wearing armani prive.

  9. blah says:

Hellen Mirren is seriously hot for a woman in her 60′s.

When I saw Nicole Ritchie, I was immediately reminded of Mrs. Roper in Three’s Company…ya know, if Mrs. Roper were from the future.

LOL… I was scrolling down the page quickly and thought that it was Lady Gaga with the way the Oscar makes it look like a giant yellow updo/beehive on Elizabeth Banks.
