Kate Gosselin supposedly has her own reality TV show in the works, but it was just announced that she’ll also be on next season of Dancing with the Stars. The mother of eight has joked before about how a run on that show would probably be a disaster, but that didn’t stop her from signing along the dotted line. Earlier this year, she told Jay Leno about the idea of being on the show, “I want to laugh at myself. I so cannot dance.” And we’ll be right there laughing along with you, Kate!
Here’s the thing though: Dancing with the Stars tapes in LA and it’s pretty well known that the celebs on that show keep a grueling rehearsal schedule. I’m sure between their father and nannies the kids aren’t going to be alone, but it will likely be months upon months of Kate and the kids not spending much time together. I appreciate Kate’s “single mom hustle”, but wouldn’t writing a tell-all about her ex-husband’s tiny penis bring in enough money and keep her close to her little ones?
It’s never been about staying close to the kids. Kate is all about Kate.
Her insane book tour schedule kept her away from the kids for months at a time too. It seems like that’s not really a problem for her.
I can totally understand the desire to get the hell away from that many kids, but when you’re a mom it kinda stops being about you. I mean, not totally, but also not at the expense of your children.
She’s doing it “for the kids”. Everything she does is for them. Exploiting them, lying to them during fake vow renewal that mommy and daddy will be together forever, regular spa treatments, bad extensions, new boobs, tummy tuck, getting rid of their dogs, leaving them with nannies more than she’s with them- ALL FOR THE KIDS PEOPLE, SHE SACRIFICES SOOO MUCH!
I wish she would get as much flack as octo has. Her reproductive choices sound intentional-

After being hospitalized for overstimulated ovaries (multiple eggs produced, too much fluid in abdominal cavity) the dr.s didn’t go throught with the IUI. (intrauterine insemination) So how did sperm reach her waiting eggs? The old fashioned way. She intentionally had Jon sperminate her when the dr.s wouldn’t do it and risk a multiple pregnancy. Septuplets resulted (one disolved). She and Jon knew from the beginning these babies would be their cash cows. SICK!!!!
She loves the attention that comes with being a mother of multiples. She does not love mothering them. Why else would she do so many projects that take her away from home a good part of the year? She’s an ego-maniac and she cares for nobody but herself.

It was MRS EX NURSE’s idea to get multi-pregnant, then sell the kids for money, be overbearingly controlling of everything to the point she did it all and couldn’t abide any help as she wouldhumiliate hubby in public to make the tv show have some drama and pathos so why does she still have to complain about his penis? She sure isn’t going to land another stupido man that way.

What the fuck is wrong with you people?! My parents had 5 kids by the time they were 27 and my dad was on the road half the week, every week. Why is Kate any different than someone who the public doesn’t even know? No one faulted my dad for being gone with a job that paid him enough to feed, clothe, and send all 5 to college (we were all one year apart). Kate just happens to be a product of the 500 cable channels generation. Everyone bitches and moans but still watches the ‘train wrecks’ and then bitches and moans when the ‘train wrecks’ try to make a living. I’m pretty sure there isn’t a doctor’s office or hospital around that would hire her for a nursing job since the camera’s that feed the hungry public need for more, more, more will not leave the ‘train wrecks’ alone for quite awhile. I’m just tired of these high order multiples moms that expect a career on tv just because they had a lot of kids. They whine that no other job will cover their expenses? Too bad. If Kate wants to live in the limelight then she can handle the criticism that comes with it. Kate thinks nothing about being away from her kids for long periods of time on her book tours and now for DWTS. I just don’t respect when she claims to be there for her kids all the time but is just as absent as their other bad parent.
So, were you at the doctors office with them when they went through fertility treatments? Did you overhear a conversation they had: ‘hey Jon, yes Kate, let’s have 6 more so we can do a reality show as a career, okay let’s do it!’ People have multiple kids with and without treatment but with Jon and Kate, they chose science to help them have another child. That treatment turned into 6 embryos. Docs told them to abort some. How dare you fault them for deciding to let all 6 have a chance at life and how dare you fault them for coming up with a way to help pay to take care of them. Oh, and you say ‘Kate thinks nothing about being away from her kids for long periods of time’, how the hell do you know what she is thinking? Please, tell me, what magic crystal ball do you have that has told you exactly how many days Jon and Kate were away from their kids? No more than a traveling salesman or lets say, a movie star gone for months on a movie shoot? No more than the parent that has to work three jobs to keep things going because they can only earn minimum wage? My mom didn’t expect a career on tv and I really doubt Kate and Jon expected it either. They made a choice and it’s their choice. Sounds like you and a lot of others think you should be able to tell people in the entertainment business how to live there lives. NOTHING THAT JON AND KATE OR BRAD AND ANGELINA OR MADONNA IS YOUR BUSINESS. You have no right to criticize them since you don’t even know them. Do you know what IUI is? It’s not the same as IVF where they put in a set of embryos. Using fertility drugs to encourage egg release (and mature folicles can be seen using an ultrasound) BEFORE insemination. Kate had over-stimulated ovaries, releasing too many eggs. Because she and Jon were against reduction, the dr. sent them home WITHOUT INSEMINATING. They would let this cycle pass and try for a less risky cycle later. They 100% knew what they were doing and don’t give me that shit that they only wanted one more! If that were true, they wouldn’t have been looking into adopting from Korea shortly before they divorced!
Her own family isn’t a part of her life because they called her out for her scam! Her own mother mentioned she was obsessed with the McCaughy septuplets. Jon bragged at work that he would never have to work again (while Kate was pregnant). They set up a website that allowed people to send “love offerings” and for companies to donate to them. These people deliberately set out to make their children a commodity!
And anyone who puts themselves in the public eye for financial gain is ABSOLUTELY open to scrutiny. Name of the game honey! You gotta pay to play. Who the hell are you to so vehemnantly defend people YOU don’t know? Unless you are Kate or that freak who runs that pro-kate website (Baby momma? is that you, you crazy biotch?) I can see no reason for your defense of her dirt.

If the gosselins were doing everything for their children, they would not have moved into a million dollar property with huge carrying costs. They would have saved and invested every dime they could and not spent it on lavish things for themselves. They could have continued to live middle class and had enough to send the kids to college and alot them a sizable trust fund.
