Except, you know, that it’s illegal and stuff. So trite, for people to equate rock and roll with drugs. Shouldn’t it be about the music? I hope he catches flack for it, because saying “oh hey *some* drugs are totally fun!” is a really stupid thing to say. Adult or not, it’s illegal and dangerous.

Calm down. Some drugs are totally fun in moderation, including alcohol (with is legal and can be dangerous). Drug use in moderation is generally not dangerous.

Still illegal? Yes, unfortunately (in most cases). There is more damage done to society BECAUSE drugs are illegal than from the drugs themselves.
As for stupid, some of the most brilliant people I know have dabbled in a variety of drugs and (gasp) lived to tell about it.
