Am I the only one who thinks that the whole foot in a bucket look of these super-heavy shoes just makes everyone look disproportionate? She does have great legs – but she’s a tiny thing who keeps wearing higher and higher heels – but to me it looks like she’s got clod-hoppers for feet. too distracting. I think you need to be about 6′ tall to carry off shoes like that.

when i saw the photo of kate i thought “UGLY STILTS!” her shoes look ridiculous, like she’s wearing lead anchors. WAAAAY too heavy for bare legs and way too tall for her stature. they’re like orthotic devices gone wrong.
I was just about to say that I love those shoes – especially on legs like Mary-kate’s! But I do see your point of them being distracting..
Anyhoo I much prefer Mary-kate’s look, especially with her hair all messy.
