Bristol Palin has landed her first acting gig. Thank God. I have spent the last year and a half of my life unsure of wether or not Bristol Palin can deliver flawless dialogue. When her episode of Secret Life of the American Teenager airs, I will probably be granted my first full night’s sleep since I first saw the teenage mother. I knew- just knew- that it would only be a matter of time before Hollywood scooped her up and put her right where she belongs.

From People:

The appearance will mark the dramatic acting debut of the teen mom, who will play herself.

“I am thrilled to be on this show and to be a part of a program that educates teens and young adults about he consequences of teen pregnancy,” Palin, 19, said in a statement.

In the story, Palin will befriend Amy, played by Shailene Woodley, at a music program for teen moms. The episode will be filmed in Los Angeles and be shown this summer during the series’ third season.

As of right now there’s no word on when her episode will air, but you better believe I’ll have that information for you as soon as it’s available.

I watch that show religiously and trust me- she couldn’t be worse than half the people on the show. Terrible terrible acting. So bad it’s good.

As an Alaskan resident I would just like for the Palin family to GO AWAY!! Once Alaskans feel the same way… I am happy for anyone that is able to gain success from doing absolutely nothing because they obviously know how to market themselves better than I do but I really feel like enough is enough.

Oh if only she was the daughter of Nancy Pelosi; then we would be honored to read all about how brave she was to go out on her own without her baby’s daddy, how she put up with the media during her mother’s political campaign…yawn.

That’s not the point. The point is the hypocrisy of a lot of Republicans. They talk all “abstinence”, but then it doesn’t get practiced. Democrats tend to speak for safe practices.

Amy’s right. It’s not because she’s some young stupid girl who got knocked up by her equally dumb highschool boyfriend. It’s the hypocrisy that is perpetuated by Palin and her family. They try to pass themselves off as this creepy nuclear Jude & Ward Cleaver knock-offs when really they are just as screwed up as us “normal people”. For Palin to come across as some holier-than-thou church lady all the while choosing to ignore what is really going on in her own house (and yet somehow spin that for publicity and sympathy of which you are obviously caving in to), is why so many people can’t stand her.

She’s done so much to undermine women in politics. She’s an embarrassment.
