I think Gary Coleman makes me sad. My gut instinct is to laugh at him, but when I think about it, there’s really nothing funny about a child actor who’s grown up to be the kind of person who tells an Insider interviewer to “go to hell.”

If you haven’t caught this interview that aired earlier this week, you must. Gary is being grilled on his domestic abuse charges by a table of women wearing updated power suits and the guy just loses it. I don’t think that I’ve ever seen anyone mouth off to someone like that in real life. You can’t help but wonder what kind of problems this guy must really be dealing with.

Wow, that’s really something. What’s up with his neck?

  2. Anton Gully says:

Man, that’s the modern equivalent of bear-baiting. Like setting dogs on a bear then getting outraged when the bear gets mad and tries to eat a dog.

He was a young actor that got messed up by the industry and never had a chance to adapt. If he wasn’t a celebrity he would have gone through a process that would have straightened him out or locked him away.

First time caller, BTW. Love your site.

Stormy – I think he had thyroid problems and I THINK that’s in the neck, so it might be surgery scars.

he did the right thing by walking off. that woman was quite obnoxious. He said about 10 different ways that no abuse happened – but she was baiting him.

Maybe the fact that people’s gut instinct is to laugh at him is part of what he has to deal with. A simple google search will tell you everything else.

  6. Cat-Face says:

Wow, that woman seems like an intrusive bitch.

I sort of side with Gary on this. That woman is a bitch and they were trying to push his buttons. There’s a difference between being an aggressive journalist (which the Insider is NOT journalism) and just being a stupid cow. She was clearly trying to get him to break.

I feel bad for Gary. First of all, he’s short – like really short, his own parents used him for money, he has medical problems, has been the butt of jokes for his whole life and now he’s got this bitch up in his face trying to make him mad. The guy can’t win for losing. The only thing that makes me mad is that this woman feels like she won and it probably added fuel to her fire.

And he’s probably still a virgin.

    She deserved it

That’s not a freakout, that bitch of an attorney pushed him to it, look at the sick fucking grin on her face, she LIKED doing that to him.

Always best to walk away from a yapping dog

  13. pufinstuf says:

Wow, he did say a number of times that he hadn’t abused his wife and she kept asking. On the other hand, he got scary angry pretty quick and basically said he wished her dead.
The worst part is when the “doctor” said Gary Coleman needed medication from looking at ~30 seconds of tape of him. What?
Reminded me of why I don’t watch the Insider. It’s completely f-ed up.
