Ashlee Simpson-Wentz took baby Bronx on a walk in Manhattan yesterday and she looked more comfortable and at-home than we’ve seen her look in awhile. First of all, I am so glad she’s back to the dark hair. Did anyone else think Ashlee was adorable back in the day when she had her MTV show with her old nose and that mullet? I loved her. She was so spunky. Ever since she went back to blond, took off that old nose of hers and then went red, I’ve been a little bummed out about her. However, it looks like she’s in her groove again. She’s supposedly doing great in Chicago on Broadway, she’s got her kid and a cute, funny husband. More of that, Ashlee! More of that!

I don’t know why this is affecting me, but it is. I normally don’t cover the K-dash beat, but for some reason I find this really upsetting and newsworthy. So, if you’ve seen Keeping Up With The Kardashians, you know that little brother Rob was dating Adrienne Bailon, that really adorable girl who was in 3LW and that Disney Channel movie Cheetah Girls. While I always found Rob to kind of be a weird lookin’ dude with a head full of stuffing, I always thought that there must be something redeemable if he landed her. She just seems like a nice, adorable chick. Then we found out on last night’s episode that the two of them are dunzo because Rob cheated on her. What?!

Adrienne’s devotion to her career and Rob’s hectic school schedule have also been cited as mitigating factors causing the breakup. Adrienne created quite a stir in November 2008, when nude photographs she snapped for Rob were splashed on the Internet. Despite rumors of a leak, the singer claimed innocence, insisting that the photographs were taken from a laptop stolen while she was coming off a flight at New York’s JFK Airport.

Rob, 22, did not provide any details on who he was unfaithful with, although he was romantically-linked to adult film star Lisa Ann (of Nailin’ Paylin fame) as recently as November. Adrienne, for her part, has moved on. The 26-year-old New York native is currently dating an unidentified man, who she was seen texting throughout last night’s show.

God forbid any woman associated with the Kardashian family be truly career-minded, right? How sad, not to mention disgusting, that he cheated on her with a porn star. Does anyone want to think about Rob Kardashian getting sexed by a porn star? Probably no one except Rob Kardashian.

I’m sad, you guys. I liked them together. It’s so hard when people break up.

Lindsay Lohan took to her Twitter January 1st to let us know that this year we might be seeing a whole new side of her. Linds said (in the Tweets seen above) that this year she wants to leave behind all negative influences in her life (including people and “habbits”) and to keep those she loves in check. God, I love this bitch. Who else is like “All the people I love are so hurtful to me?” Granted, she’s got an exceptional situation with those parents of hers, but if you feel like all your friends and lovers are trying to “tear you down”? Dear Lord, girl. Legitimately take a year off from Hollywood and then come back when you’re ready to stand on your own two feet emotionally.

I doubt we’re going to see much of a change, but it’s sweet that she claims she’s trying.

Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley’s daughter Alexa Ray Joel tried to kill herself last month after a break up and now she wants to make sure that you don’t do the same. Alexa, a singer, took to her Facebook blog (Ugh! Just get a Tumblr! Facebook blog?! How tacky!) to tell her fans that not only is she fine, but that she’s come out on the other side of her depression wanting to help other girls who might be feeling the way she did when she swallowed a few too many pills. She’s even got a special name for it: Heartbreak-Related Depression.

I have many exciting new developments for the New Year…most importantly, to help young girls with something I feel I know a GREAT deal about: Heartbreak-Related Depression. Although it does not get much attention in our society, it is a very serious and painful condition that often gets ‘swept under the carpet.’ I hope to bring this topic more to light.

I’m even going back to school for Psychology in hopes to learn more about this and many other afflictions that many of us have had to face. After all, there’s nothing more fascinating than the human mind and its respective conditions

Where do I begin? Heartbreak-Related Depression? Damn. What about the people who are already depressed because of their socioeconomic status and then they get heartbroken? I’m thinking that there’s something kind of frivolous about dedicating time to studying this. Sounds to me like she wants to go to vet school so she can play with puppies or something. Secondly, there are a lot of things more fascinating than the human mind, let’s not be so self-involved. Outer space! Dinosaurs! Religion! Somebody go sign this girl up to work a few shifts at the homeless shelter or something so she can touch the ground.

Hey! I’m glad she’s feeling better, but let’s not over indulge a 24 year old experiencing the same thing we all do. She can spend 10 years in school learning about it, but at the end of the day she’s going to find out that the only way to cure a broken heart is ice cream, tears and random dick. Just sayin’!

Tiger Woods landed himself the cover of Vanity Fair this month looking the best I have ever seen him. To be frank, I thought all those mistresses were driven to his money alone. I had no idea that Tiger could be hot, let alone kinda sorta slammin’. The photo spread taken by Annie Leibovitz before the scandal is accompanied by an essay that was wrote post-scandal by Buzz Bissinger, a Pulitzer Prize winning writer.

Yes, the photos make Tiger look good, but the essay is a different story. Bissinger dives in to his understanding of what it means to live the live of a squeaky clean public figure when you’re actually dirty:

In the end it was the age-old clash of image versus reality…. He deluded himself into thinking he could be something that he wasn’t: untouchable. The greatest feat of his career is that he managed to get away with it for so long in public, the bionic man instead of the human one who hit a fire hydrant.

And that’s really why this whole story has been so upsetting, isn’t it? Tiger Woods went and gassed himself up so much that he got flagrant about his bad behavior. One mistress was hard for us to hear about, but by the time we had more than a hot dozen on our radar, it was repulsive. I’m thinking this might be something you want to look out for at the dentist’s office.

The ingenue leads Billboard’s Hot 100 singles chart for a second week with “TiK ToK” while setting the record for most single-week downloads by a female artist (610,000). Did I call it or what?

Her full debut album drops January 5, although it leaked online last week. I’ve heard the whole thing at this point (legal note: I’M TOTALLY KIDDING) and I summed it up this way on my Twitter:

Loving the leaked Ke$ha album because I am forever a 12-year-old girl who can’t wait to grow up and be a drunk slut at the bars.

And it’s soooo true. Like, I’m so over being a drunken party girl on the LA club scene; I’d never want to go back to it. I guess, at times, it was fun while it lasted, but I’d never want to return to that lifestyle. But the album — with hardly any swearing and words like “dick” barely audible when they’re used — is clearly being marketed to a pre-teen and teenage crowd, the girls who want to hear about how cool it is to be a drunk slut at the bars. Who want to dream about the day when they can be that girl. And that aspect of it spoke to that part of my past. I dunno. It was just a really fun album. Additional props go to her for writing an album where the woman is actively and openly pursuing casual, dirty, don’t-even-fucking-talk-to-me sexual encounters. I expect it’ll sell quite well, and we’ll have another little pop phenom on our hands. Fun!!!
