Well, Sasha’s new favorite lady (and definitely one of mine as well) was on Ellen yesterday performing her new hit “Tik Tok”. Positives first? That girl was definitely not lip syncing. She clearly sang every word of that song herself or… it probably wouldn’t have sounded like that. In all fairness, that song seems particularly difficult to sing live, but yeah. Yikes. I thought she looked great, the audience full of moms, aunts and grandmas seemed to be tickled by her lyrics and she gave off the impression of being completely adorable in person, but the performance just wasn’t that tight. Especially when you consider the fact that she was performing her hit song. Hopefully she’ll get it on lock before her next live performance because she’s kinda too great to give a bad review.

Most people don’t seem to know who Casey Johnson, the Johnson&Johnson heiress who passed away yesterday, but Paris and Nicky Hilton sure did. The fellow heiresses were family friends with Casey and according to Paris’ Twitter eulogy, this is not easy news for them to hear. While Paris Tweeted her condolences, Nicky Hilton, her mom Kathy and her boyfriend David Katzenberg went to the Johnson home last night to offer their support.

No one seems to be taking the news as hard as Casey’s future wife, Tila Tequila. In fact, she’s so upset that she just can’t stop Tweeting about it. Here are some of her Twitter posts from last night:

It’s nice that she took a night off from the computer and whatever the hell she’s on to just grieve, right?

As for the cause of death, we’re still waiting and it looks like we’re going to be waiting for awhile. Because of the high-profile nature of her case, Casey’s autopsy results have been sealed and won’t be released until about a month from now. There’s a chance that the family may make an announcement before then and we will definitely hear rumors, but nothing official should be released for awhile.

The common COD is widely believed to be drug use, but it may also be diabetes related. Wow, that sounds awfully familiar.

It looks like Rihanna is going to be starting 2010 with a total fresh start. Her new album “Rated R” is fantastic and she seems to have completely moved on from Chris Brown like never before. In fact, Rihanna might have a new boyfriend in LA Dodgers outfielder, Matt Kemp. The two have been together in Mexico for a few days now and the paps have already caught them making out and grabbing at each other like a couple of horny teens.

This guy might just be good enough for Rihanna, too. His nickname on the field is “The Bison” because of those huge arms and his quick speed. It will be pretty great if these two stick together. After a fairly disastrous 2009 with a horrid excuse for a man, Rihanna deserves to find the kind of guy that this Matt Kemp character seems to be.

Casey Johnson, Johnson&Johnson heiress and “wifey” of Tila Tequila, died today in her Los Angeles home. The 30 year old was found in her bedroom by her maids. A neighbor reported to E! News that when her body was discovered, the maid screamed “She’s dead!”. As of right now the cause of her death is still undetermined.

Tragically, Casey adopted a little girl, Ava, from Kazakhstan in 2007. Most recently she’s been popping up on Twitter as the fiancée of Tila Tequila, who left this statement for her fans today:

Does anyone else get really grossed out when people describe other people as “yummy”? Are you going to eat them? What do you mean, “yummy”? I love Rosie and I’m so glad she’s dating again after what was likely a very difficult break-up, but “yummy” has to go.

James Franco is guest starring on an episode of 30 Rock that’s airing on January 14th and we’ve officially got some stills to hold us over while we’re waiting (via OHLALA). Whatever happens with Franco’s character is pretty unclear (and perhaps made much more confusing) by these photos, but the rumor seems to be that something going to happen between him and Jenna. And I’m sure if there’s an anime pillow involved, it’s going to be hilarious… in a weird way.
