Tiger Woods maybe possibly donated a mobile hospital to the Haitian earthquake victims, but other than that he’s been pretty off the radar the last couple weeks. Every day we’re hearing rumors about the status of his marriage, but Tiger hasn’t been photographed or seen anywhere in awhile. According the People.com, he could be in the one place he belongs: Sex rehab.

Several Web sites claim that the embattled golf great is undergoing rehabilitation for sexual addiction at a respected clinic in the southern Mississippi town.
While officials at the Pine Grove Behavorial Health and Addiction Services clinic won’t say whether Woods is a patient, two local TV stations, WJTV and WLBT, report that their sources confirm Woods was there.
In the university town of 45,000, “there are very few secrets,” says WJTV reporter Chris Williams. But there aren’t any certain answers, either. “I can’t either confirm or deny I have seen him here,” said Chip Gibson, director at Southeast Aviation at the Hattiesburg airport. “But, I can tell you that my telephone is ringing off the hook with news people wanting to know if I know anything.”
While this quite easily could be a rumor (and Tiger could be staying at some private NYC pad hooking up with college girls), if it is true, this is a huge step for Tiger. It’s still said that Tiger doesn’t want to split from his wife, Elin Nordegren, and one would imagine that he has a ton of work to do in order to get her trust back. Sex rehab is certainly a good start, although I still wouldn’t blame her for throwing him to the curb, taking her cut of the money and giving Hollywood the deuces.
Not really sure how sex rehab would make a difference. From the mistresses who have spoken out, it sems like he was having full-fledged relationships, getting them gifts, lengthy late night phone calls. He could pick up one night stands at a club or get hookers if sex was all he needed. This is like Isaiah Washington going to rehab for making homophobic comments. It does nothing but try to make the public believe they’re working hard to get “better.”
Exactly. They don’t make a rehab for his real problem–being an asshole.
That was my thought too…sex addiction doesn’t usually take the form of trying to manage multiple relationships. He may be addicted to entitlement, fawning and adoration, but good luck getting him over that.

addiction is simply the temptation. it’s not the reason. one’s decision is what’s key here. whether to be weak and give in or strong and move along.

let’s all stop judging and just hope he’s receiving ample help with self-control. cause that’s really the problem.
