David Hasselhoff Had a Seizure Yesterday, You Guys

David Hasselhoff Suffers From Seizure

Yesterday a very nosy neighbor (that I am sure David Hasselhoff wants to murder today) reported to RadarOnline that the Baywatch hunk of yesteryear was having a seizure in his house:

Hasselhoff’s neighbor Christian (he asked that we not use his last name), told RadarOnline.com that he saw the ambulance arrive at Hasselhoff’s home. “I asked one of the paramedics how David was doing and he told me his eyes were rolling back into his head, he was drooling and that he’d had a seizure.”  Unfortunately, said Christian, “this isn’t the first time this has happened to him.”

According to the story, Hoff is back off the wagon and he’s been taking anti-depressants and medication for epilepsy for some time. The three together? Probably not a great combo. Worst of all? I don’t think the public really knew about these problems and that neighbor and the loose lipped paramedic? Well, they’ve turned this private but not so secret problem in to a headline.

  • I love the Hoff, but these stories about his relapses and hospital trips are just so sad. It may be time to put him down. (Not you, real people in similar situations. You can prevail in your struggles!)

    • I do realize that the Hoff is a real person. And, in earnest, I hope he can rally through his substance and health struggles.

  • My aunt died today from alcoholism. She had multiple seizures over a few years before her liver finally totally shut down. She was 48.

  • I really feel sorry for him, he seems like such a nice man. I hope he recovers from this, if Amy Winehouse can anybody can.

  • Molls- That IS a jab at the abused. Throwing out a disclaimer beforehand doesn’t make it okay…why is it that every time I read something utterly stupid and ignorant its by you?

  • When you are in late-stage alcoholism and you fall off the wagon, when you STOP drinking your body goes into seizure from alcohol withdrawal. Yup, it’s a sign that your liver is shot, but not necessarily a sign that you will die anytime soon.
