Yeah, you probably shouldn’t drive around lower Broad / downtown if you’re drunk, considering it’s saturated with cops patrolling specifically for DUIs. Doh!
The best way to avoid a DUI is to plan ahead. If you’re worried about your car and you’re the kind of person who’s willing to pay for a night at the Hilton, leave your ride at the hotel & take a cab to the club, OR don’t wear stupid shoes and WALK the two blocks.

If you’re more “frugal” like me, agree to meet with your friends @ someone’s house that’s fairly close to downtown and share a cab to the club & back.

Of course, none of this would be an issue if Nashville could just get some decent mass transit. I haven’t looked up the statistics, but I bet DUI rates go waaaaaay down if there’s a decent form of public transportation available.

Who gives a rats ass if she was fed booze all night or if she was setup. She’s a f’ing adult!!! You go to a party, HAIL A CAB asshat, and you can drink whatever you want!!!

I’m so tired of this excuse making bullshit everyone makes when they get a DUI. How many thousands upon thousands of people die every year because some asshole is drunk behind the wheel? Enough already! I just don’t understand why people aren’t shamed out of driving drunk!

I wouldn’t be shocked if some of what she said was true. Wouldn’t the police have to respond to any calls about potential drunk driving regardless of who the person was? Seems easy enough to get her arrested if she willingly drove while slightly over the legal limit.

Sadly there is probably some truth to this story.

MTV has sunk so low in their need to make these awful scripted shows into train wrecks. I would not be surprised at all, if she got set up.

So now those god fearing *coughbullshitcouch* Christians (the couple whom shall not be named) can pray for Stephanie. And MTV can be their to film it all for a very special episode.

If you are not given a blood alcohol content reading in most states and instead given the straight line test, you can demand another form of testing.

It seems like if it was your heels you could’ve taken them off and done it barefoot. Or demanded a blood alcohol test to prove you were sober.
