Gwen Stefani’s London Crib Burglarized

FP_IMAGE_3689617/FP_SET_3687754

Gwen Stefani’s London quarters, a massive place in the Primrose Hill area, was broken in to over the weekend. Stefani, her husband Gavin Rossdale and their two kids were no where near the property when the break in took place. In fact, they were halfway across the world in Singapore where Stefani was performing with No Doubt at the F1 Rocks festival. The first floor of the home was ransacked, but for some reason the burglars stayed out of the second floor where most of the couple’s private possessions were stowed.

The front door of the estate has now been covered with a heavy metal sheet to block the hole that was made in order to get inside, which honestly doesn’t look all that secure to me.  It seems that break-ins have been happening left and right between Audrina and Lindsay and now all the way across the pond at the Stefani/Rossdale place. This is for sure a sign of the desperate times we’re living in mixed with people’s insatiable need to get their hands on a little piece of celebrity.

  • EB Staff:

Where is Wendie? I thought she was the weekday editor? Molls, you’re awesome–don’t get me wrong. I just want my Wendie when I expect her. OCD about certain things, okay?

      • FYI: they rent out the bottom of that property. So technically someone broke into someone else’s “crib” owned by Gwen and Gavin. Just the rest of the story for ya, half-assin it like usual lol

  • Hey, so you wanna join up? Good! But just be warned … this site ___sugar^loves___ is addictive. It has been known to keep people up all night feverishly clicking their button. Relationships have been destroyed, jobs have been lost, and lives have been ruined!

    • bur·glar·ize (bûrgl-rz)
      v. bur·glar·ized, bur·glar·iz·ing, bur·glar·iz·es
      v.tr.
      1. To enter and steal from (a building or other premises).

Verb 1. burgle – commit a burglary; enter and rob a dwelling
      burglarise, burglarize, heist

As you can see, both forms of the word are correct.

  • I like Wendie, don’t get me wrong, but I’m kind of digging the fact that I can read Evil Beet again and not brace myself for snarky back handed comments. Beet was not always nice, but she’s honest. She also would balance out her posts so some were a bit snarky and others were nice. It’s seemed for the past few months that Wendie hasn’t been balancing in the same way.

    • The whole point of having a “gossip” blog is to bring in the snarky comments. I can’t believe we have gone this long without hearing from Wendie about how Mischa Barton’s show was canceled!

    • however, Wendie actually posts things on the website in a pretty steady pace all day long. beet no longer posts here unless she has make up tips. and molls is ok but bland at best when it comes to her posts as well as the fact that she doesnt start posting until around 2-3pm and stops posting at about 7pm. and anyway, Wendie is putting her opinion on things and if you dont like it you can always go into comments and let your thoughts be known.

  • I just wish there was something to read earlier in the day and more often. I come to this website to be able to read something new throughout the day. I don’t expect the writers to write 15 hours a day but if you’re taking over for someone that posts a lot – like Wendie – then be prepared to work at the same input level that they usually do. Otherwise your readers are going to be disappointed and feel ripped off.

    • Wendie operates on east coast time and stops earlier in the day while Molls operates on west coast time and stops later in the day. They both post the same amount just at different points in the day.

      • yup yup. well the nice thing may be that if you don’t get to read the later posts by molls you will then have more to read in the morning before she posts again the next day!

  • Truth is that I miss Evil Beet. I come here like once every two weeks, kick rocks and leave again. It’s like a bait and switch scam. Anyhoo- see you in three weeks.

  • Sorry to be picky Molls, but EB has always made such a point about correct spelling that here I go too: it is “nowhere”, not “no where”.
