You Can Stand Under My Areola

Rihanna's Nips

Rihanna nipped out for a bite to eat in the West Village earlier this week.

In all fairness, there have been times that I’ve worn what seems to be a perfectly opaque, cheap cotton tank, only to discover that if the light hits it just right you might be able to see through it. But then, I’m one of those crazy old prudes who wears a bra, so no one gets to see my turkey timers.

  • Celebrities need to figure out what the hell they want. They constantly complain about needing privacy, yet they don’t even bother to wear undergarments and let it all hang out for the world to see.

    • Well, not wearing a bra isn’t really that revealing…And it’s most likely she had no idea it was transparent.
This does not contradict her wish for privacy.

      • Yes, it is. Especially when you KNOW the paps will take pictures from every angle and there’s a good chance parts of you will be exposed. If they care so much about their privacy, celebs should work extra hard to keep and preserve it- might seem unfair, but them getting paid millions of dollars for doing virtually squat is also unfair. Putting on a bra, which 99% of the female population already DOES, just *might* be a good step in the right direction.

      • “In all fairness, there have been times that I’ve worn what seems to be a perfectly opaque, cheap cotton tank, only to discover that if the light hits it just right you might be able to see through it. “

      • You’re quote above is seriously ridiculous. Kelly’s not a celeb. Kelly doesn’t complain about privacy. Kelly doesn’t have paps taking millions of pix of her.
Celebs are held to different standards because they’re not like average people- that’s what makes them stars. Of course an average women wearing a see-through tank isn’t going to have the same consequences than if a celebrity woman did it. Celebs should already know this and take some extra time double checking the way they look if privacy is so important to them. If it’s an important enough issue to complain about, then it should be important enough for them to take those few extra moments checking that nothing is showing or close to showing.

      • That’s the price that they have to pay for getting star treatment, exclusive entrance into clubs, millions of dollars, etc.
And there are millions of woman who don’t have paps in their faces that already double check the way they look before heading out the door and/or make sure to wear underwear.

      • Then how come I can tell every single time when someone isn’t wearing one. When you don’t wear a bra, I can see your nipples, period. And if they’re not hard at the moment it’s even worse because then the fabric falls in the strangest way ever.

  • If she wanted privacy – why does she wear her name in BLING around her neck?

Of course I didn’t notice the bling for the first ten minutes! :)

  • When are these readers going to wake up? I feel sure that when she left the house she (and her publicist) knew that her top was see thru and where planning on the paparazzi taking pictures of her tits. If she had put a bra on then these pictures never would have been published.
