There’s been a lot of anticipation surrounding the first photos of Nancy Leigh AKA Naleigh, the baby girl that Katherine Heigl and hubby Josh Kelley adopted from Korea earlier this month. The adoption news seemed to come out of nowhere, as even a year ago Heigl was claiming that she had no immediate plans for children. Somewhere along the line, those plans changed and now do Heigl and Kelley not only have Naleigh in their possession, but they’ve just released photos of her on Heigl’s fundraising site. Congrats to the happy family.

You’ve pinpointed the EXACT reason I cannot bear KStew in these films. Agreed, the character is paper thin (as best), but at least there was some semblance of charm in the way she is written in the books. There is no charm in her acting, no... -

This is beyond beautiful, such an adorable little girl, I’m very very happy for them.
Whatever you might say about her as a person, adopting a child is a wonderful thing and they look so precious together.
I wish them the best of luck.
They started the process a really long time ago. I’m sure she said she had no immediate plans because she knows how long these things take. I wouldn’t want to answer questions every day about how my impending adoption was going, either. I think it just seems like it’s out of nowhere for us because she didn’t announce anything until it was final.
And that is a damned cute baby!
that baby is adorable! i hope this baby will help heigl to better herself, which she seems to have been doing recently before the adoption. (i’m referring to her quitting smoking) congrats to the family!

Well…. adopting 3 international kids certainly turned public opinion around for the woman who stole the-girl-next-door’s husband, maybe it can work for the ungrateful-seeming Heigl as well. Not saying that’s WHY she adopted a little girl, but many people think Heigl is self-serving and whiny.
That’s exactly why I think she did it…
She has an adopted Korean sister so I don’t think it seems so unlikely for her.
That said, I still think she’s self-serving and whiny.
I love how people say Angelina “stole” Brad Pitt from Jennifer Aniston like Brad had nothing to do with it. It was his choice to cheat on his then wife, why does it all have to be Angelina’s fault?

If it had been Wendie she would have bitched that K. was squeezing the kid too tight, or it looked malnourished, or that K. looked awful, or that she was going to raise the kid poorly, or that she had stolen the kid and had its parents shot and dumped into a river, or that she didn’t embrace homosexuality enough, or was against smoking weed, or she didn’t vote for Obama because he is black, or that her tits are to small, or she doesn’t read Popular Mechanics magazine, or she uses the wrong brand of douche, or her parents voted for McCain / Palin, or Blah….Blah….Blah….Blah….
